I was thinking now that I am within the three day window of O we should maybe BD until I O, and then one after.

I hope his swimmers are ready...or maybe I should continue EOD, any advice? I ahte it when it comes to this...I can never decide. We have no known issues with sperm. Anyone know what TCOYF recommends?

so the mailman comes to my job with our mail this morning, lo and behold a BabyTalk magazine addressed to me...cept i never subscribed to that and even if i had i'd NEVER have it sent to my job! a couple coworkers saw it and were teasing ''ohhhh is there something you wanna tell us?" all i could say is "i didnt subscribe to it, honest! lol"

so much for it being a surprise when I am actually pregnant and not trying lol

@cowgirlace:  Thanks for starting Part 2! I love that it's not even Dec yet and we are on part 2.

So remember I was saying that DH was starting to lose steam with the EOD BD-sessions?? Yesterday I got a positive OPK and was excited but also a little worried because I was thinking DH was in need of a BD break and now I was gonna have to force him into it for the next 3 nights in a row. Anyway, I told him I was O'ing and he was actually excited! We had the best sex we've had all cycle! Huge relief!

So my question to you ladies is: when should we BD again? We did Tues night (night before + OPK), last night (night of +OPK). We'll def do it again tonight but DH has a hockey game so it won't be until at least midnight that we actually do the deed. Should we squeeze in a quickie after work too? I'm worried we're gonna miss that egg if we wait a full 24 hours between BD'ing. Am I being crazy? Is the pre-hockey BD overkill?

Holy shitballs Batman! Part 2?!? Yikes! I go away for one day...

So yeah,  just skimmed messages and all I absorbed was posive OPKs (yay ladies!!) and a fancy weiner pillow (SWEET! Where can I get on of those?!?!)

AFM, hubby is on his two days off and my little man was sick (puking, yuck!) so no fun interwebs time wasting for me. I did, however, almost behead the hubster when I realized that he threw a (tampon) box of OPKs out with the trash yesterday. There were like 10 tests in it AND my October OPKs. I was like COME ON! I have to nag remind him to take all the trash out on a weekly basis for trash collection day and the one time he does it on his own he throws out vital stuff. Luckily I have another stash of OPKs and my HPTs in the closet. Hopefully I won't need anymore OPKs after this month though. I'm very proud of us. We stayed on the SMEP to the tee, even though I passed out on poor DH on day 3 of everyday but was so proud that I woke up to sexy time weiner in my face telling me I can't go to sleep yet LOL Hope all you ladies are dropping eggs and getting it done too! Big hugs and baby dust all around!!

@cowgirlace:  thanks for starting the new thread!

@MrsHovzilla: Sorry about the trash confusion and the sick boy!  Hopefully you won't need more OPKs.  Sounds like you guys had a bunch of successful BD-ing this cycle!

@MrsMoksha:  I think just doing it once today would be fine, especially since tons of people get KU just doing EOD, so over 24 hours in between shouldn't be a problem.  But, if you guys have it in you and you want to, then more power to more BD-ing!

@CircleFace:  Yikes, that sucks!  That would really annoy me if some magazine that I didn't even sign up for outed me at work!  Before we were engaged, DH received a NY Weddings magazine addressed to him.  He was like, "Ummm...wtf?"  Meanwhile, I'm sure some website of some sort that he was looking at when he was ring shopping got his address and signed him up.  It actually went to his parents' house and it's got pictures of all these brides on the front - his mom was like, "Is there something you want to tell me?"

@MrsJuneBee:  Everything I've read says that if you don't have any reason to believe there's any problem with his swimmers, then try to do it every day of the FW (or once you get a + opk).  My DH has issues when we do it every day (and sometimes even EOD for that matter), so that doesn't work for us.

@hardtoconcentrate:  Yep, "we were trying so hard not to have another kid, I guess my body just doesn't like birth control." Granted, this is only my first month trying, so it doesn't sting too bad...her due date is right around my birthday, so that's exciting at least? I fessed up and said I was trying to get pregnant too, and if I accomplish that, we can tell our super judgmental parents over Christmas together so neither one of us has to go through a chew-out session alone.  (I love my parents to death, they just think that because THEY waited until they were in their 30's/40's that everyone else should too...no thanks!).

She told me to quit trying and it will happen...solid advice from someone who has gotten pregnant "accidentally" and "on the pill" TWICE now. Haha...oh I love her. Have to keep a sense of humor throughout the TTC process, right? :)

@cowgirlace:  Thanks for starting the new thread... you ladies are so chatty it's hard for me to keep up!

@MrsJuneBee:  I just saw my doctor and she was glad that we were only doing EOD some times ED, she told me never more and EOD is best :) GL I find that when we do every day we get burned out and it doesn't seem like he has "as much" when he finishes.

@MrsMoksha:  Typlically ovulation occurs 24 to 72 hours after your positive OPK. Skipping a day should be just fine. I always get a postitive and never ovulate until 3 days later. But I am not your body and everyone is different. Just thought I'd give my two cents :)

@MrsHovzilla:  YOU crack me uo lady! Wiener in your face! lol

@cowgirlace:  Sorry or erm glad to hear about your sister? This is so hard isn't it? I mean I know your probably happy for her but you wish you were the one who got to share the exciting news. I hope you get to soon lady!

Well I had some blood work done yesterday and should have the results back late next week, and the Hubs is picking up "the cup" this afternoon with instructions so he can get a SA done. I feel like we are finally getting somewhere. Now hopefully nothing serious is wrong.

@cowgirlace:  Thanks for making the new thread!! Lame sauce about your sister being ridiculously fertile while you're trying, but I'm glad you're happy for her. The timing is laaaame though. But it would be awesome if you guys could be pregnant together :)

@cowgirlace:  Thanks for starting a new thread. And, ugh. Congrats to your sister, but ugh. As soon as we started TTC, my sis-in-law got preggers. Happy for the family, but a little bitter. But maybe you'll get to get your BFP soon, too, and the kids can be super close cousins, you know?

thanks everyone! I'm kind of weary to believe it as it's sooo faint, but then again there are 2 tests with it. I have 1 FRER left over from last month so I will either use it tomorrow or the next morning. I think I'm going to hold off telling DH until after tomorrows test or Saturdays test. I think if I tried to show him those he wouldn't believe me. I did run out to the mall and buy a couple onsies to give to him, I'm really going to try and wait a day or two to tell him but I just don't know if I can keep it to myself. I'm sure I'll burst into tears as soon as I see him tonight.

@MrsMoksha:  you can wait after hockey! with my bfp this cycle, we BD'd night of O and again 36-40 hours later. (8pm sunday night and 5am tuesday morning) it was crucial rules from the doc, but it worked!

@RoyalLime:  3 days after your positive OPK you say? I've just added a 3rd night to the BD schedule just to be safe! I don't temp so I'd rather be safe than sorry!

@LyndzJM:  so faint but I think I see it? I dunno I have crazy ttc vision too so.....get out the FRER and pee on that sucker!! No way I would be able to not tell DH. If you manage to get through tonight without telling him you are a stronger woman than I am!!

@MrsMoksha:  I was kind of wondering about BDing too much too.  My DH and I will be out of town in a hotel for the 3 days leading up to O and O day, which is great.  We were talking last night about BDing every morning and every night, so like every 12 hours.  Is that going to be too much? He's never had a problem but I don't know that we've ever BD'ed 8 times in 4 days!!  I'm worried he'll get worn out by O day.  Or is it like, the more you do it the better?

@wifegoodman:  thanks for the advice! I think I will wait until after the game. It'll give him time to build up lots of good swimmers. He always wants to get his freak on after he plays hockey anyway. I guess sports get him all riled up or something. lol
