I have decided to wait until 17DPO, and cycle day 35 to test…Is that crazy? I can’t bear the is it/isn’t it? thing…

@Evie19:  17 seems pretty late to wait…I wouldn’t wait THAT long….if you have early response tests like a first response, you could technically get a definite at 12DPO. I would try that.  If you feel more comfortable then a 14dpo would let you know.  Are you positive of your O date?

@CocoLoco523:  Yes, thank you. 🙂 I plan on taking my pregnancy test anytime from Dec 21-23.

@BellaDee:  My doctor told me to wait until cycle day 32 to be sure, which would be 14DPO…which is December 20th. I’ll be traveling that day, so I’d rather test the next day when I’m settled at my parents’…I don’t know. I guess I’m scared to get a false negative or a really faint line that might be an evap line…

@kate02121: I know right? It’s been so weird these last 4 days having a little secret that no one knows about, just trying to act normal. I haven’t told a soul ( except DH of course ) but I may tell my esthetician next week just so I can tell SOMEONE hahaha

 @BellaDee:  if you do decide to POAS you know we will be here, ready to help analyze!!

Tonight is my first social gathering with alcohol where I will have to pretend to drink. Saying I am driving won’t work with this group so I think I will hold a half full beer from DH but not actually drink from it. ekkk I’m nervous!

@Evie19:  Aw…yeah I’d listen to your doc, 14 dpo (or the next day) sounds promising to me!  Just so you know if you aren’t tracking your ovulation with temping or OPK’s that you can actually O at different times, even if your cycle is always 32 days…mine are longer now that we are TTC.

I’m usually average 32 also, and lately i’ve been 35+

@BellaDee:  Thanks! Yes, I actually know that I O’d on December 6th. I guess Dec 20 or 21st would be OK…

I’m going to have a social function on the 22nd with some people I don’t like very much, so I also didn’t want to get bad news right before seeing them…

@Evie19:  Don’t be so hard on yourself, even if it isn’t your month…you will be pregnant soon enough 🙂 Don’t plan for negative outcomes just yet!

@Pink Asawa:  good luck lady! All else fails, fake sick 🙂

@BellaDee:  I think we’re synced up this next cycle. I’ll be ~7DPO on New Years Day. Praying to not have another period until late 2014!

@terpalum10:  I plan to EBF…if all goes welll, and I heard not only do you shed the pounds faster, but you can sometimes extend your no-period! I’m xing my fingers that I’m lucky enough.  I really hate my periods, after pregnancy if I get them again I’ll probably have to start taking medicine because mine are horrible!

I’m kinda sad that a lot of my favorite ladies on here already have BFP’s I hope you guys stick around 🙂  So happy for you all!

@Evie19:  I think 14DPO (15 so you can be home) would be more than enough to feel confident about your results, as long as you’re using a good test like FRER. I really don’t think you would get either a faint line or a false negative if you were pregnant, at that point.

@Pink Asawa:  Ha, I told my sisters, so that’s at least been good. And I’ve obviously told you all, so I have more people to talk about it with…but it is an insane secret to be keeping. I’m hoping the urge to shout it out or send a mass email dies down.

Also, same on the outing with alcohol for me tonight. I have a big work dinner with all of the senior staff in my group where alcohol will definitely be free flowing and it will be very noticeable if I don’t drink. My plan is to ask for a glass of wine, and then just not drink it or fake drink it. I don’t know what would work better.
