BD timing: We failed this month due to hubby's work schedule! It could be anywhere between O to O-2. Who knows!
Link to Chart:
Favorite Christmas/Holiday Goodie: I don't have one...I suppose just cookies! I like making the Nestle Tollhouse regular choco chip cookies, but use more brown sugar and skip the choco chips...LOVE. To die for!
@ScottishMrs: Do you think you may have O'ed on CD26, or do you think it is still coming?
@ChuckNorris: I think it's a possibility, but I thought that twice before already. So I'm not getting my hopes up. I still have the EWCM too. I was so sure that I was going to O yesterday that I tried to get DH to go for 3 days in a row, but he wasn't able to finish because he was tired from the day before.
@MrsMaskatoBe: Thanks for part V! Stalk stalk stalk ;)
Current Cycle Day: CD10 (guess its technically Wednesday now)
Ovulation Date: not sure yet..hopefully soon!
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: I'd love to POAS Christmas eve/christmas so if i get a BFP, I can throw the test in DH's stocking and wrap a little onsie up! But who DOESN'T want that? Lol. All depends on when I actually O.
Cycles trying: 2
BD timing: EOD
Link to Chart: http://fertilityfriend.com/home/Dahliiia

BD timing: Thinking of trying EOD this cycle as soon as AF is gone.
Link to Chart: No chart yet. May attempt this cycle. We'll see.
Favorite Christmas/Holiday Goodie: Starbucks mocha peppermint fraps and anything pumpkin spice.
Current Cycle Day: since it's after midnight, technically CD17
Ovulation Date: was supposed to be CD16....
(i think having to call the police on a customer for physical assault and getting a subpoena to witness for the city on the SAME day may have stressed me enough to delay my O-day.... ya think?)
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: original POAS was going to be 12/22... now i don't know.
Cycles trying: 2
BD timing: been trying almost everyday since CD11 and will continue until i POAS.

Yay for a new thread? Is anyone worried about dealing with holiday parties and drinking during the TWW? I think I ovulated yesterday, and I have our big annual company holiday party this Friday. I will roughly be only 3 DPO, but I don't want to risk it and drink. However, people will be so, so suspicious if I don't drink. It's an open bar wine/beer so I can't just order a diet coke and pretend it has rum in it. I am debating either getting a beer and emptying it out in the bathroom and filling it with water or getting a glass of wine and taking 1-2 sips throughout the night. I feel stupid drinking only because I don't want people to get suspicious, but even saying I have a UTI and am on antibiotics will make people suspicious - people who know me know I love to drink and wouldn't normally care if I was on AB or not! ha ha. This is going to be a toughy...
@maggierose: what I do is hold FIs next drink so it looks like I'm drinking. take a teeny tiny tiny sip here and there. :) a little bit won't hurt!
Y'all ladies are cray cray! I can't believe all these threads - madness, I tell you! haha.
Good luck though, I hope there are a few more BFPs in December!!!
WOW another thread already!
My temp went way up this morning, highest it's been in 3 months!!
Current Cycle Day: CD22
Ovulation Date: No idea, around CD15 though
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Dec 15 - 23/24 day cycle
Cycles trying: 3
BD timing: Every day
Link to Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Lyndzo
Favorite Christmas/Holiday Goodie: Gingerbread men!
Current Cycle Day: CD32, 11DPO
Ovulation Date: FF says around CD21 (possibly)
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Will change from the 22nd to the 20th. Usual cycle length still TBD.
Cycles trying: 4
BD timing: We tried to time to O (based on the 'yes' on my FR Digital Ovulation whatsit) but my chart indicates that I ovulated subsequent to whatever surge the whatsit identfied. Othewise, when the mood strikes. Illness had made stuff not great this month. Anyways, I'm pretty much just waiting for AF because based on timing, there's no way.
Link to Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/405dc6
Favorite Christmas/Holiday Goodie: Stuffing & cranberry sauce! Also Turtles.
I'm out :( BFN and early AF yesterday. FX for the rest of you!
@MrsMaskatoBe: I am, but I have this feeling AF is going to show tomorrow :(
@KateByDesign: I'm sorry about AF :(
Current Cycle Day: CD27
Ovulation Date: 12-4-12. Took a break from temping this month but assuming I ovulated on the same day I do every cycle.
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: 12-15-12. I always have a 10 day LP so based on that, Saturday AF is due. 29 day cycles.
Cycles trying: 6
BD timing: Instead of going crazy and stressing out about timing we just BD Day 17 and Day 18. After that was just whenever the mood struck.
Link to Chart: Nothing to show this month.
Favorite Christmas/Holiday Goodie: Air Bags. They are date cookies that my DH's aunt makes. YUM!
First Responce... is it worth it? I am exactly 5 days from AF and the stress of waiting is killing me!
@Mrs Hedgehog: How many DPO are you? If it's driving you crazy the $15 for the test is worth it :)
Im not ttc but I love following your threads ladies! so from a non TTC girl, im sending you all some good vibes :)
Holy cow, part five!!! Love it ladies! I'm technically out for this month but could POAS Dec 31 but I've asked DH to hide the tests until at least 11 DPO since that's when the stats really go up for positive tests according to Countdown to pregnancy.
Current Cycle Day: CD 6
Ovulation Date: not charting so guessing around Dec. 22
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Could POAS Dec 31 but making myself wait until at least Jan. 2
Cycles trying: This will be cycle 2, but really first cycle of really trying
BD timing: Planning to do SMEP
Link to Chart: Not charting yet
Favorite Christmas/Holiday Goodie: My grandma's sugar cookies and hot chocolate and baileys
@Mrs Hedgehog: First response is one of the most sensitive, there was this thread not too long ago that told all the sensitivity of most brands. I ordered a ton of Wondfo tests since they are so cheap and figure that if that will show a positive I can break out the first response as my "nice" test to confirm.
Current Cycle Day: CD19, 2DPO
Ovulation Date: CD17
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Dec 21, usual cycle length is about 30 days
Cycles trying: 3
BD timing: Looks like we hit O, O-1, and O-2 this time
Link to Chart:
oral: http://fertilityfriend.com/home/MrsEagleEye
vaginal: http://fertilityfriend.com/home/MrsEagleEye2
Favorite Christmas/Holiday Goodie: I can't pick just one, but all are forms of cookies! My Grandma makes really good frosted sugar cookies in Christmas shapes and also the peanut butter cookies with a hershey kiss on top. My Mom makes rosettes with powdered sugar on top which are also amazing!
I bought one pack, that contained 2 tests. Used 1 last month and will use 1 this month before AF shows. BUT, I am going to be using dollar tests before that. Making the money go a bit farther.
Just popping in to say I love the thread title! It made me giggle this morning. :) "Feliz BD'ing" haha
If I get to POAS, it will be at the end of the month, like the 28th or the 29th when we are leaving for a two week trip overseas so I will have to decide if I should pack any pee sticks to take with us. Good luck, ladies!
Just wondering, which do you find to be more accurate? Tempting orally or temping vaginally?
@chelles07: The overlays of oral temps or vaginal temps line up pretty well with each other so I think either would be fine. I think my vaginal temps are probably more stable but I have certain patterns in my oral temps that are helpful for timing BD so I like to have both.
Today for example, my oral chart gave me crosshairs (says I o'd on CD16), but the vaginal one hasn't. I don't believe the oral ones since my first positive OPK was around 8:30pm on CD16, and if I record a higher temp tomorrow my crosshairs will move to CD17 which will match what my vaginal temps are saying. Last month, my oral temps gave me crosshairs at CD10 for a random spike one day, but then they went away the next day and I didn't O til CD20. So eventually, the methods both settle on the same result but I prefer to trust the vaginal ones more since my oral temps tend to give me dashed crosshairs when I haven't yet O'd and then it fixes itself later.
However, my oral temp always dips considerably the day I get my first positive OPK. My vaginal one did last month but not this month, but since I had also charted my oral temps I knew to expect a positive OPK that day and made sure to test multiple times to catch it.
@MrsMaskatoBe: Thanks for starting the new thread!
Current Cycle Day: CD10
Ovulation Date: CD11 or CD12
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: I'll be POAS-ing early because if there's a chance I'm pg, I'd like to try to find out before Christmas day. So, I'll POAS on 12/24.
Cycles trying: This is our 4th
BD timing: Whenever it happens. I'm taking it easy on the BD scheduling because (A) I don't want to pressure DH too much and (B) I'm ok with not getting KU the next couple months because it would be pretty rough timing for me to deliver in September or October due to a new job.
Link to Chart: www.fertilityfriend.com/home/hardtoconcentrate
Favorite Christmas/Holiday Goodie: My mom makes the best fudge I've ever had. I've already requested it for this year to make sure she brings it. Yum!
Ahh part 5! I need to catch up on this later ... but first, here's my roll call:
Current Cycle Day: CD13
Ovulation Date: Not detected yet
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: December 29
Cycles trying: #1
BD timing: We're shooting for EOD and any time I get somewhat fertile CM and whenever we feel like it
Link to Chart:
Favorite Christmas/Holiday Goodie: Spritz cookies. And hot cocoa with marshmallows!!
Wow, you ladies are fast!! 33 posts on the new topic already, lol!
Current Cycle Day: CD20
Ovulation Date: CD18...I think. Should I get my cross hairs tomorrow (chart below)?
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: POAS Date: Dec 19 or 9DPO.... I'm impatient [and super naive] because this is our first cycle ttc. :p
Cycles trying: 1st! But we had been sort-of NTNP for a few months. Pull out method only. Didnt get pg obviously!
BD timing: Whenever we feel like it. I insisted on daily right before i thought i was going to O. :) Usually we're 3x a week sort of people.
Link to Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/40dba2
Favorite Christmas/Holiday Goodie: FUDGE! And sugar cookies. and really anything chocolate.
I want fudge.. and gingerbread men.. and sugar cookies now.
My interview for my job is in 2 hours. I am SO nervous!
@ChuckNorris: Oh em geeee, you're POAS-ing tomorrow!! I'm hoping you actually O'd earlier and the timing is better than you think. Good luck - FX for you. :)
@mrswant2B: I hope your husband gets the offer!
@maggierose: I'm in the "drink till it's pink" camp, so I will drink until I have a positive HPT. My first TWW I refrained from coffee and alcohol during, and I realized that it was even more devastating when I got a BFN because I was thinking about it all the time since I was changing my normal routine (not having a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine some evenings). Also, it's my understanding that the baby doesn't start getting nutrients from the mother until the placenta attaches, which happens in the 6th week, so way after you miss a period.
@Mrs Hedgehog: If you go on First Response's website, you can print a coupon for $2 off, if that helps.
@MrsFarmer: Thanks for the good luck wishes....major FX for you that you get your BFP very soon!
