And Houston, it looks as if we're headed for liftoff!

Last night T and I were supposed to go out on the town (will do tonight instead) but on the way home from work in and near Buckhead he got a flat tire.  Yea, the cutie in his dress clothes by the side of the road had to change a flat tire IN THE DARK.  And he did it! (applause for T).

So he comes home with a donut on his car and is covered in yucky stuff.  He calls me (later than usual) and tells me what happened and he's just tired.  He asks where I want to go so he can make reservations and then he tells me about his car tire.

I said "Oh sweetie don't worry.  Let me bring something in instead of us going out".  So I call our fave new place for takeout and we stayed in and watched the tivo'd episode of the Office (will write about that later) and some movies.  During the dinner/movie thing, he looks at me and says "You just really get me.  You understand everything don't you"  I kinda smiled at him.  He then decided to talk to me about my ring size.  He said..so you're inbetween a 5.5 and a 6 right?  I said yea.  He said "are you opposed on plat bands to have the two little ring sizey ball things on them for a short while?"  I said "no." 

Later in the evening my bff calls and tells me about her crazy day too.  After we get off the phone T says...hey, what's her number?  I said why?  He said..what if I called her and asked her something would she tell you if I did.  I said "of course she would.  but she'd try like hell not to tell but would end up telling me."

So it's coming.  He then asked if she could come in town in December for a visit.  She and I are bff's for over a decade and she's my son's godmother too.  He's up to something.  It involves a ring I know for sure.  He's also asking when am I going to see my sis and bil and would she say something.  He then stopped himself and said "I think however I know the answer to that question". (my sis is the one who has been dying for us to get married for over a year now).  If he told her about his plans, SHE would probably scream yes for me over the phone  in advance.

He did say something wierd about wanting us to take a hike tomorrow.  It's gorgeous here.  We'll see.  He has also been going missing in wierd times on afternoons when he's not working.  I know he's the ultimate planner as he'll spend his commute back home in the evening planning what we'll do on a weekend.  It could be soon.  It could be on the big night.  Or it could be when I least expect it.

Now we'll see if he does any last minute ring style stuff or lassos me into a jewelry store (think he's been going to Brown & Company btw).

Last night I was feeling a little rough after dinner though.  About 1 am my stomach began to hurt (had to be on different antibiotic this week due to re-emergence of the crap I had 3 weeks ago) and I felt baaaad.  I said "I have to go home.  I don't feel so well."  He then said "Sweetie this IS your home.  You'd best get used to starting to call it that ok hon?".

I'm not sure..the hike might be next weekend.  We may take my son with us up to Kennesaw Mountain.  I love that place plus all the history there and the killer view on top is just great. (50 I'll bet you've gone there!)

I don't think it will happen before December though.

He is just acting so wierdly nice as of late (not that he's not nice all the time mind you :)  ) but the roses 3 weeks ago, and today he went and bought me all new stuff from Victoria's Secret (one of my fave places and I love their pajamas) and then last night? 

I'm just glad he saved a tad more and is going the plat route!  I heart platinum!  It's got "character" to it.  And I do know it's really hard to perfectly size a plat ring (used to have one..my last wedding ring was one).  I had the 2 little sizer balls on the inside of my ring then too.

Seriously, I think it will be mid December.  But I will tell him tonight if he needs to talk to my bff or sis to go ahead :)  !

We're going out to dinner tonight to Sugo, one of our fave restaurants together.  It's so cozy and romantic!  I love it!  And we're going out tomorrow night too! 

I'm kinda having fun this weekend (not getting a damn thing done around the house though).  Weather's gorgeous here in ATL and I'm actually going out a decent bit!

He he he...I'm gonna surprise everybody here I can gauran-damn-tee it when it does happen.  And it won't be expected.  I gotta have some fun right?  Right now that's one of the fun parts I'm really looking forward too!  I have one or two ideas up my sleeve.

Thanks so much everybody!  We had an amazing talk last night and the "december no talkie talkie" thing is done.

I know it's going down.  It's gonna 100 percent happen soon as he asked if one of my bff's and soon to be maid of honor  (he is the sweetest person ever with regards to my close friends) who has been dating her for almost 5 years would get upset if I got engaged before Christmas or would it hurt her feelings.  I said of course not.  She's happy for me and I'm happy for her come rain or shine.

He said he just wanted to be careful with her feelings and then like magic she calle me on my cell phone and we talked (the 3 of us) for a teeny bit.

It's going to happen and it's all good.  But he made me promise to not ask too much or fish as he's wanting to "do this right".  What the man said ladies!  He said to not steal his thunder and let him do what he has to do.

He then asked if my bff could come in town.  In December.  I think he'd want her there or the weekend after but bummer, I'm on call the weekend before Christmas :(

Balls on the darn ring or not it's ok by me!
