I’ve finally decided on my dress! I really like that it’s comfortable and it’s a wear on and forget about it dress! No fussing around! It also comes with the belt which adds a little muted sparkle.
This is how the back should look like…
I’m gonna wear some really high heels with this so i don’t look quite as stout.
What accessories should i pair this with? I was thinking of some long dangle earrings..with a bracelet or a … watch?

I love how elegant it is, while still having a fun back. It’s truly beautiful. I would definitely wear some dangle earrings with this and a bracelet. Something to add just a bit more sparkle.

shiyun87: Very elegant dress – you can do so much with your look. I would second some decent sized dangly earrings (you could even go for a coloured pair if you wanted – I wore subtle blue ones!) and a sparkly bracelet. Just be careful it’s not a ‘snaggy’ one though.
What are you thinking for your hair? I think it would look beautiful in an updo with that neckline. Have you considered a veil or head piece of some kind? I think you’d have to pick either quite carefully to ensure it didn’t overwhelm the dress, and I would go for slightly smaller earrings if you were doing anything sparkly.
Love the bows on the back – so special. Congrats on the big and exciting decision!

Gorgeous! I love that dress and Rosa Clara! You look beautiful!

I love how classic and clean that dress looks! I would carry that clean look throughout, with some large pearl earrings (with a little sparkle if you want – something like http://www.stylishboard.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/37.jpg ) with a simple french twist swept up-do. I would skip the veil so as to not clutter up the back of the dress, but you can definitely put a beautiful pearl and sparkle type hair accessory in the up-do to fancy it up.

Love it! I wish I could steal the belt to wear with my dress.

Thanks guys for the lovely words and suggestions!
@Miss_Mae Coloured earrings is such a great idea! I did not think of that!
@penguinwedding That’s such a pretty pair of earrings – so delicate yet making a statement! Yup, i think no veil but something sparkly in the hair would be nice. 🙂
@dancindavinci I know right! You can’t see the belt too clearly from my pictures but it’s really quite the opposite of the big blingy jewels you always see. I love that everything about this dress is so understated! 🙂

Guys, what about this? I’ve confirmed the wedding gown but not the evening gown yet since we are having a wedding dinner and it is customary for the bride to change into an evening gown. I don’t have much of a choice and this was the best one out of all that they had. What do you guys think?
It’s a ruched sweetheart neckline and it’s just a simple A-line skirt fully covered with rosettes. It won’t be in this coral colour. I will be getting it in red (see below – not my size) instead.
I thought it would be a real contrast to the more conservative and simple white gown above.
What do you guys think?

shiyun87: Oooh, I love the red, especially in contrast to your ceremony dress. I think it’s really lovely and you look great in it, but are you truly happy with it? For a dress that you are going to be wearing for so much of the event and be photographed in a million times, you want to feel amazing. If you’re not 100%, make sure you check out some other places before you committ. I love the fabric though, and the strapless looks great on you (and is nice after your other dress).
These are the earrings that I ended up wearing. They were just a gentle blue (which worked in with my flowers and bridesmaid’s dresses) but I really loved them with my simple A-line dress. I felt like since my dress was on the simpler side compared to a lot that you see, it was nice to bring some personality in with the accessories.
You are going to look stunning. Have fun putting all the final touches together 🙂
