I think it's cute! Not everyone will like everything, so I don't think you have to worry about getting multiple kinds of champagne.
@abbie017: (:
Yeah, I'm just a little worried they won't even drink it
Like my FIL doesn't like sweet stuff.
So maybe?
Ugh, I don't know
Hmmm I think there is a Laduree not far from me. I should look into macarons as favors. Lol
I love mini wine bottle favors. It is exactly what we were planning on doing. If we could we still would. Something come up and we had to get money from somewhere and we decided on taking it from the favours and settling for chocolate hearts instead.
But i'm glad i've found someone else who is doing it. Have you thought about personalized sticker labels? They are on ebay and are super cute.
There's no way you'll find one thing that EVERYBODY likes. But those are super cute & I think you'll have a majority that like them.
@nikix: cute! and who complains about free booze? I think one option is fine but two would feel fancy
@miss-stacie-2013: No, I don't think I want to cover up the lables.
We're just attaching our thing onto the ribbon.
I think seeing the lable is fancy.
@soontobemrsm11: Yeah but it's such a small wedding that I don't want to offend anyone that I didn't take their 'taste' into consideration.
You know?
@subtlebee: Haha. Free booze is pretty great!
I think I might go with two!
It's not really costing extra, so why not?
But just maybe more litchi ones?
ahh okay, I didn't read or missed that it was a small wedding! sorry =) I'm probably going to have a pretty intimate wedding as well & i have no idea what I'll do as favors.
@nikix: in NJ and there is a Laduree about 20 miles from me in NYC
@Jennlee: Do you like the idea of this

Without the ice.
Or is it just extra 'bagage'
they are soooooo good!!!!
one of my friends loves the Rose flavor, to me it tastes like scented soap. it's a hit or miss flavor but very interesting to try haha
@nyCheesecake: I tried the rose flavour at Peirre Herme.
It was okay (Herme is rated better then Laduree)
I like basic flavors like strawberry.
You should try Herme.
They have like white truffle ones.
haha
@nyCheesecake: I love chocolate ones! I also like the chocolate macarons from La Maison du Chocolatier
damn, all we have here is whole food macaroons or local store made macaroons :( sad...
@nikix: I haven't even started thinking about it. I just started working on my bridesmaid gifts. All I've done so far with favors is nix ideas that I don't like lol I like yours though, I think it's cute
@nikix: My fam & friends are more wine people than champagne. I'll probably do some sort of wine combo, maybe an assortment of baby wines or something, if I do alcohol favors. I'll be glad I'm having a small group when I start looking into prices I'm sure lol
@soontobemrsm11: Mini wine bottles are a great idea
get a mixture of red and white!
@nikix: I love the idea of a litchi-flavored champagne! I think you should pick up a few regular ones though. Litchi (or lychee?) can be a pretty overpoweringly sweet flavor generally and some people don't like it.
If I were a guest at your wedding, I'd be all over your favors like white on rice.
@somethingaquamarine: Sorry, Litchi in french ;)
Haha
It's not over powering at all
A little sweet, like rose champange.
It just smells a little like Lychee.
But I think you're right

Mini bottles of Litchi Champange, with a black ribbon and our personalized 'thank you' tag tied to the bottle by the ribbon. And a little straw (:
Styled like this
with the straw
And then assorted treats from laduree (macaroons, truffles) in this
With a black ribbon around it too.
But I'm a little worried that not everyone will like Litchi Champange (even though it's amazing) should I get some mini moet champanges too and let them pick?
