So after going back and forth back and forth in an endless war of Dress Regret, I decided to go back to the boutique and try on the dress once more - but before I did, I asked if I could try on Jenna by Maggie Sottero, as I had been eyeing that dress for a long time, but never tried it on as I was afraid my curves would just ruin it.
I AM SO GLAD I TRIED IT ON. This dress, although WAY too small (the sample was a size 12, and I'll need to order a size 16 with my HIPS!) fit my curves like a dream. It put all my best features front and center and I feel like such a special bride...I just came to life in this dress and I feel amazing!

I am beyond happy with this decision...I'm so glad I embraced my 'womanly curves' and that I'm going to take a leap of faith and end up buying two dresses. Now I just need to sell the first! But this dress is SO WORTH IT.

@karo: thanks! yes, I've been growing my hair out for a very long time now...I'm very pleased with it! I'll be dyeing it a dark brown for the wedding though, to go back to my natural hair colour. :)

I didn't really like this dress on the model or on many other thinner brides. But it looks like it was made for you. :)
And it is much better than any of the other dresses you posted here.
You look awesome! How long have you been growing your hair, btw? Mine's only about elbow-length and I thought it was mega-long til I saw yours, lol.

@kaylee26: I'm a size 14/16 street size - so I was EXTREMELY nervous about trying on a super fitted dress like this - but I am beyond glad I did :) The dress will be ordered in a size 16 because of my hips...:)
@Mrs Grape: Almost 6 years now!!! It's taken awhile but it's stayed very healthy luckily! No split ends!
