I started out with a specific style in mind, but now am clearly undecided! The ceremony is going to be outside and the reception is being held at the same location in a big white tent. The location is at a bed and breakfast with a beautiful stone manor, vineyards, and even a barn! Overall, which dress looks best and seems to fit the wedding style as well? Thanks!! 🙂
#2… Casablanca 1900
#4… Justin Alexander 8557

@melanieanne129: Also suggestions of other styles are welcome as well! I’ve just started my search and I’m open to ideas!!

I thought #2 was great, and then I got to 4 and totally changed my mind! JA is great; that’s what my dress is (though a different style.) I’ve been impressed with the quality.

I think the Allure and the Justin Alexander flatter you the most! I love the lace on the Justin one as well but I think you seem like you’re more confident in the Allure.

I Love the flowiness of the JA but the Allure is also VERY flattering on you!

I LOVE the Allure! It’s similar to my dress, so of course I love it! It flatters you SO much, love the lace!!!!!

I love the Justin Alexander 🙂

OMG its so hard to choose between the JA and the Allure!! They both flatter you! You really cant go wrong it would just depend on the fit you feel best in. Good luck!

I love #4 on you! #1 is a close second though!

I literally said “wow” when I saw the JA. It is beautiful on you, so unique and perfect for an outdoor vineyard wedding. The Allure is pretty but that shape and style are so trendy right now and kind of ho-hum for me

#1 Looks gorgeous on you! But I think #4 is also very beautiful.

I like #1 and #4 the best 🙂 I love everything about the first one, but I think it would look even better if it was an A-line like #4 instead of being so body hugging like it is currently. If there was any way to turn the first dress into an A-line I would pick it hands down. I think it’s still my favorite even without the A-line though. The last pic is beautiful too, and it comes in at a very close second for me. Personally, I prefer the flowers on the sash in the first one, and I also like the softness in the first more. My thoughts when deciding between the two would be:
*How do they feel? Does the fabric feel nice against your skin/is it scratchy anywhere? Is one easier to move/dance in than the other?
*Price (If this matters to you)
*Do you prefer stark white or something a little softer? (The first is softer in color than the fourth)
*It might be easier to find shoes that match the last dress unless you’re going for colorful or sparkly shoes and don’t need them to match (My dress is ivory and I had an extremely hard time finding matching shoes that weren’t covered in sparkles, which is not my thing. I found tons of white shoes though)
*Does your FI have a preference? (If you don’t want to show him the specific dresses you can find out his general tastes on different cuts. Be careful though because I had that backfire on me when I found out my FI didn’t like the same things I did lol)
I think they all look beautiful on you though and you’ll be gorgeous in which ever one you pick. 🙂
ETA: If you end up deciding you do want to change the first dress into an A-line and that’s not possible with the current dress maker, then I’m sure you could have Jasmine’s make one for you. They have very reasonable prices, but you’d want to take a look at their lace samples since I don’t know if they could replicate the lace exactly and it wouldn’t be the same with a different lace pattern. They’re mentioned a fair bit on the bee, so you might want to scope out some other posts and reviews if you haven’t heard of them. Just thought I’d throw that idea out there since I’m not the only one who liked the A-line on you, but also liked the way the first dress looked. Hopefully that’s helpful! 🙂
