Lilies are pretty big flowers, so if you just bunched a few stems together it would be a gorgeous bouquet:

But, if you wanted to go with different textures, something like this (roses- which you mentioned) is really nice:

This is really cute too (lilies with gerbera daisies):

I would do lilies with gerbera daisies or dahlias. Two of my favorite flowers

Hey all, I'm going in for a consultation with a florist next weekend to try and figure out what flowers I am going to order for our DIY bouquets/centerpieces.
I am growing my own lilies in a variety of colours but I need to decide on some fillers (greenery/complementing flowers etc) to go with them. I only have to make 2 maybe three bouquets (one for me, one for MOH, one for a maybe BM who is still undecided), so it's not going to be a huge hassle.
Here is what I plan/hope to use for myself as my 'main' blooms *crosses fingers that >50 days is enough for bloom time* (omg sorry these are so huge :O )
My MOH has decided on orange asiatics & tiger lilies (I let her pick from my garden what she wanted), so now I just have to wrap my head around what to fill out the bouquets with.
For some reason my brain seems to think white roses will be cheapest/easiest to get (but I really have no idea why I think this or where the idea came from haha), but I do also like to look of dahlias. I know it mostly depends on what is in season etc but I'd like to go into the meeting with a few ideas at least.
So, what would you pair with lilies oh-ever-knowing hive?
