@Splodge2003:  I love that radiant. You have quite small finger size, so I think it will look fantastic on you. Your first option gets my vote !!!!

@Splodge2003:  I much prefer the radiant; I prefer the proportions, the fact it’s platinum, and the fact it’s G colour rather than H. I think you’re getting more ‘bang for your buck’, too. So, that would definitely be my choice.

However, they’re both very different: which style do you personally prefer? If you can’t decide on up and down vs across the finger coverage, have you looked at the possibility of a 3 stone with a larger centre stone? For example, 77 Diamonds have a 3 stone with a 0.57 G SI1 excellent-cut radiant centre stone for £1900 in white gold; it doesn’t have diamond-set shoulders, but I imagine they could easily add them for a small extra cost. Might be worth thinking about going the custom route?

Radiant hands down. Like you said, you have long skinny fingers, so the radiant looks more proportioned.

I think you should get to a jewellers and try on some styles going down and across your finger. They are both gorgeous rings but very different. I love oval, emerald and pear cut stones but I wasn’t crazy about styles going ‘down’ my finger – I felt it looked weird on me but I love it on others. My ring is a three stone ring because I found I much preferred the ‘across’ look. I think you’ll find you have a preference one way or the other. If it helps, I don’t think you can go wrong with either!

They both are beautiful but radiant cuts steal my heart every time.  I think it will be gorgeous on your long slim fingers.

I’m not typically a radiant fan, but this ring is gorgeous and I think with long skinny fingers this will be better suited and provide the right type of coverage!

I also typically like 3 stone rings but I like when the center is significantly larger than the sides… this one doesn’t feel as engagement-ring-y to me.

@Splodge2003:  Have you considered going the custom route then?

I would seriously suggest getting in touch with a few jewellers in Hatton Garden; it should be fairly easy to get all the elements you want in a custom design (ie radiant-cut centre stone with two side stones and a diamond-set band with tapered shoulders).

Some will draw up a design for you before taking a deposit, so it might be worth thinking about.

Both are really nice! I slightly prefer the radiant to the three stone though.
