Well first of all, I love love love your dress. As far as your suggestions, I really like the length you have...I don't see the ballerina length often so I think you should keep it. If youre worried about back fat (I worry about the same thing) you could let out the bust JUST a tad. Because it's really not noticeable and I wouldn't have noticed until you directed my attention :) Lol. Really that's all I would do. I reallyyyy like your dress though :)
Thanks MissTX! I actually LOVE the ballerina length- on the model, lol. I feel like it makes me look short, but I may keep it and wear some heels.
I think a crinoline would help shorten the length and take away the crease in the back of the dress.
I think it looks good the way it is, but a bit poofier wouldn't be bad either! Definitely wear snazzy heels.
I think the dress is gorgeous. However, if you're worried about back fat, there was a post about that a while back. I also think the length looks fantastic on you and does not make you look short in the slightest. For the weird fold in the back - maybe a petticoat would work? But honestly, I wouldn't have noticed had you not pointed it out. On your wedding day, everyone is going to be so busy giving you hugs and being blown away by the aura of happiness surrounding you that they aren't going to even notice the back of your dress.
lol, @itshouldsnow Thank you :) That was kind of the determining factor. I honestly felt more beautiful and glam in the longer, evening-gown-type dresses, but every time I put on a shorter, cuter one, I was bouncing around like a happy kid. Please see exhibit A- goofy smile.
I agree that some sort of crinoline would solve two of your concerns - it would shorten it a tiny bit AND it would remove that crease.
It's adorable and you're adorable! Love it.
I like the length. Don't change it! And maybe let the bust out a very very little. You might feel uncomfortable if it's that tight around the back.
Let the dress out a tad in the bust, and don't change the length! Beautiful!!

Ok- I think I'm down to 1 dress, and I'm having Dressilyme make it, but I have some fit issues- would love to hear what the bees think, pictures of me below are in the original Allure 8803 at a bridal store:
1) Back squish (backfat). The dress fits perfectly in the waist and hips, and felt nice and snug up top, but then I got the below picture back. Yuck! What needs to change, besides my workout routine?
2) Weird fold in the back of the skirt. I think it looks super weird. Do I need a petticoat? I was really trying to avoid that, but I don't know how else to make the fabric not do that.
3) Length. The dress comes in a ballerina (ankle-length), but I want it tea-length. How far down the leg should I have it measured to be the most flattering?
