I think on the coffee tables it would be pretty if you had a shallow bowl with colored glass beads at the bottom and floated some white roses in it and surround it with tealight candles.  On the fireplace mantel you could get two topiaries and tie a pretty banner between them with y’all’s names on it and maybe some pictures of y’all together in different frames.  The large dining tables you could do sometihng like a large hurrican glass with glass bead in the bottom and silver and gold branches coming out of them and you could use a table runner to put some color on the tables or maybe some more topiary trees, like a grouping of three in different hights, and bunch some tulle and twinkle lights around them like snow.  On the parsons tables I think some candles and a long floral arrangment would be nice.  Hope this helps!!!

hi, just saw your reply on the other post…  i don’t know why but “relaxed elegance” to me says “shabby chic”.  if i have that all wrong, i apologize.  but along those lines i think laces, toile with golden print, frilly flowers (you, the kind that have ruffly edges?), and white chipped paint – on wood or metal accents.

here are some photos i found along those lines…  if i’ve gotten it all wrong in my head, let me know, and i’ll try to help out some more.
