I think the picasso lillies (with the purple centers) would look gorgeous submerged in the vases!

ETA: since your hurricanes are a little bigger than the typical cylinder vase, you could wrap them circularly like this:

I’ve read that when doing submerged flowers, you should use distilled water so that you don’t get air bubbles.  Something to keep in mind if you run into that in your experiments.

@Woodstock:  depends on your general wedding theme/decor.  If you’re going more rustic/natural, the pebbles would be nice, but if it’s more glam/elegant, I’d go for the clear glass beads.  Also the glass beads would probably go better with the mirrors.  I think a purple napkin over the white linens with the mirror over it, then the hurricane with clear glass beads in the bottom and 3 or so wrapped picasso lilies with floating candles would look really nice and elegant.  I also think it always looks nice to have 3 or 5 votive candles on the table around the mirror if you can.

I will also be doing submerged flowers for my centerpieces. I got my inspiration from the picture i’ve attached. Our ideas of flowers are very similar. I’ll be having picasso cala’s with white roses purple stock deep purple orchids and lillies.

I think if you would like to throw in orchids to the mix, that they look beautiful submerged and hold up well from what my florist has told me. Cala’s get pricey… it was actually MUCH cheaper for us to go with a voluminous amount of orchids (as pictured) than go with 2-3 cala’s in the vases that are 30″ tall. But is def. up to your preference.

We will be placing the crystal rocks at the bottom and putting votives around the base of the centerpiece to give the tables some light. We are having uplighting as well so I’m thinking this will look very romantic.

I would def. go with REAL flowers though. Let us know what you choose!

I used submerged orchids from Sams Club for my centerpieces. They hold up for 3 to 4 days in water.
