Here are a few pics of my wedding reception venue. I am having a hard time decieding on colors. The wedding is in november so I was thinking maybe gold/cream/brown, and maybe branch-y decorations, white flowers and lots of candles. With so much wood in the venue is that too monotone?
My other color idea is greyish purple, white and a sage green. Which do you think would look better?
I am also having trouble with centerpieces for rectangular tables….

@LullabelleK: First of all, that venue is gorgeous! I love all the windows!
As for your question, I would probably go with the greyish purple/white/sage green combination (or I might change out the white for an ivory or cream, depending on the shade of your gown). I think those colors sound like they’d be lovely together (if I’m picturing them correctly). Do you happen to have a picture of the exact palette you’re considering? I think that would give a better overall picture.
I do think you can still get away with branch decorations (even with all the wood in the venue), but I think by choosing a color scheme that doesn’t include so much brown and gold, it will bring it together a little better instead of seeming overwhelmingly brown.
