wow that sounds like a lot of ribbons.. are u using so much ribbon because you really love ribbon or just cos you have so much of it? just be careful not to end up with too much ribbon
that said, you can tie ribbon around your favors if you want
Love the look of ribbons. It just feels so whimsical.
It does sound like a lot when it's all written down like that but I don't think it's going overboard yet. The venue is a completely empty historical buiding. Great wood floors and high ceilings but the walls are completely empty and white.
I just found this picture and think it might cute behind the cupcake bar.

Martha stewart, has lots or ribbon decor ideas in her craft tutotials
I agree with bells - seems like you already have enough ribbon going on. I would sell the extra ribbon. Someone else could use it!
Send off Ribbons! we are doing these instead of sparklers or bubbles
Re the question from popover: In case anyone else is curious, the peach tulips are from a wedding featured July 2, 2009 on Style Me Pretty.

Hey Bees!
I need some inspiration for different things I can do with ribbons for the wedding. We are already using ribbons to tie on the backs of all the chairs.
We are going to tie the bouquets with extra long ribbon. The table numbers have ribbon around the base of them. The menu cards are going to be wrapped in ribbon. We are having a wish tree so the wish cards will have ribbon. Ribbon wands at the ceremony and the program fans are going to have ribbon on them so they hang from the backs of the chairs.
Even with all this I still have about 250 yards of extra ribbon. We ended up having a credit at ribbon retreat so I picked up a couple hundred extra yards of ribbon that I'm trying to figure out what to do with
.
Originally we were also going to do ribbons running down the tables but we've since had to switch the color of our base tablecloth and have added a brown runner. I'm not sure if we should still use green ribbon on top of the brown runners or not.
I also thought of doing ribbon balls for the aisle. I've made half a ball so far and although I like it it is a lot of work and I"m not 100% sure that I LOVE it. So before I start cutting up 80 yards of ribbon into 4 inch strips I thought I would see if I could find anything else to do with the extra ribbon.
Any ideas for me bees???
