Hey Bees, so I have a challenge you may enjoy.
I am basically down to the last $200 in my budget for decor. I could just not spend it, but…where’s the fun in that!
What I have so far: draping in purples and greys, lit chinese lanterns in clustered focal points, floral arrangements (very loose arrangements, not highly contructed things), linens, lighting, candles…basically the whole infrastructure.
What I think I’m missing are little details.
What are your favorite inexpensive decor details? Inexpensive DIY? If you have a great idea, I really might do it! Would love your thoughts.
This is my inspiration board, and we’re honestly not far off.

Do you have any paper goods/signage left that you could get creative with?
I love your colors, by the way, I’ve always loved purple and grey together.

I do think I need to make some signs, totally forgot about that even though it is in my IB.

You could do something that your guests would enjoy. Edible favors. Ice cream or candy bar. Photo/Party booth. It sounds like you have all of your decor taken care of.

@ Tonya: I actually have pretty much all of that already. Edible favors, candy bar, and photo booth. We also have an open bar, dance floor, bocce tournament, transportation, karaoke, Friday welcome event, and Sunday brunch. I’m just looking to see if there is some little thing worth adding or making at this point.
@ JamaicaBride: yeah, there will be a massage, don’t you worry. My parents are paying for the reception, and I am paying for all of my personal costs, but I made sure to budget for that.

How about little cards inviting guests to share/upload their photos of the event? or props for a thank-you picture? A floral arrangement for the placecard/guestbook/gift tables? More candles? Uplights?
I think I could spend your $200 about a thousand ways! 🙂
