I won't have a wedding planner, pretty much I do everything myself. I plan to get married at a park near my fiance's house (due to tight budget).  Could you give me some ideas as to how I should decorate my ceremony so that it wont look weird and cheesy? My fiance's uncle will marry us.  Also, I'm not sure what the ceremony entails.  I don't know the procedure.  Please advice.  Thank you!

For decorating the ceramony you can do a chuppah or canopy. A simple way to create the chuppah is to use 4 bamboo rods and secure them in ceramic pots with sand and pebbles. You then can attach a pretty light airly fabric to the 4 poles and ta-da an elegant canopy to keep the attached on the man and women of the hour! Also very cheap!

There's plenty you could do! One idea that just came to mind is lining the aisle with potted plants -- you could purchase cheap pots at a Home Depot and paint them with your colors ... then you could just assign someone the day before to go and purchase some beautiful (but inexpensive!) plants from the local grocery store and place them in your beautifully painted pots!

I love the idea for an outdoor ceremony where they placed tiles down the isle

I have seen many pictures where there is very minimal decor and even no alter at outdoor ceremonies. I will have my ceremony outside w/ no altar, the only decor I will have will be white rose petals on the grass to emphasize the isle. With the petals, chairs, and trees the natural decor is beautiful!
