I didn't do this particular thing, but in high school we needed lights behind fabric. Maybe loop the lights with zip lines across in a straight line. Like hold the string of lights to the pvc pipe and then wrap a ziplline thing around it. Then string i over to the other side and repeat until you are finished.
Or drape it over the top so strings of light hang down behind the fabiric (or in front of).
Or you could buy the isicle lights and just hang those from the top.
But I would buy see through fabric.
You can get net lights or string lights. The arch that we purchased came with net lights so we just attached it with the clips they provided.
i saw this on pinterest and thought it was really neat! not sure what the frame looks like but maybe you could incorporate this somehow? sheer curtains and hanging lights?

Greetings all! I'm the MOB and doing all the decorating myself. Hubby made me a frame for the headtable backdrop with pvc pipe and it turned out perfect! I want to add lights but have a question. Has anyone made their own backdrop and how did you add lights behind the material? Thanks for any help!!
