Hi there, An arch would be a great way to make a background for your ceremony. You can decorate it with you wedding theme/ colors. Another option would be a small canopy like an eazy up. Jewish people always get married under a chuppah, which is like a tent. You could also construct a wall that you can decorate that can later be used as a photo background for guests. Think about window displays in the mall for inspiration. Try an online place like shindigz for background material and decorations. they have great videos tutorials for this sort of thing. Good luck!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
My reception venue has a very nice patio and steps leading onto the patio that we are planning on having our ceremony. We were thinking about having some sort of arch (my parents neighbor works with metal and could put something (it would not be fancy) together for us. All of a sudden my mom is in a fit to come up with other ideas! (I think she is hoping to use my neighbors help as a last resort). Does anyone have any creative ideas for the use of this space. (I want to do something! I want to try to break up the space between the patio and steps and also avoid having something wierd going on in the background during the ceremony) The only other decor we've decided on is black metal shepards hooks with mason jars and flowers.
