- Wedding: May 2011
We are getting married at a historic museum’s garden in May. I’m at a loss for how to decorate the ceremony site. I want something vintage and fun. I envision my bouquet having peonies, anemones, etc. I know I want real flowers, and I’m thinking of decorating the aisle chairs with simple small flowers, then two larger arrangements near the arbor.
Here’s some pics of our site (note the arbor flowers are fake in this picture. The arbor is actually jasmine, which may or may not be blooming at our May 28th wedding). I wanted to maybe hang something in the arbor or put in some flowers? Would I go silk for that?
side of garden with topiary beds and where I will enter through wrough iron gate:
Our invitations are green paisley with pink (here’s a mock up from our etsy seller) as well. I wanted to somehow incorporate paisley (maybe on ribbon holding the flowers on the chairs? Or pinwheel oragami from the arbor made with paisley paper? Any ideas guys?
