You’ll probably all hate me for this 😛 but i thought i would share
Deep Fried Cadbury Creme Eggs
Things you need:
- Frozen Chocolate Bar (I saw it done with a Mars Bar)
- Deep Frier or a Pot with Oil
- Batter (Flour, Water and Milk)
Freeze the Chocolate bar you want for a few hours (I left it for a day to make sure it was frozen)
Cover the chocolate in batter, Make sure it’s fully covered
Put it in the fryer for 30sec-1min (until brown) and then pull it out cut it in half and eat it 😀
They are very rich so if you use a chocolate bar i’d recomend using a “fun sized” one

They really ARE good! I had them at a fair last fall.
These look insanely rich. I could probably eat one bite. It’s amazing what people will fry!

@brighteyedgirl: I’ll have to let my Boyfriend or Best Friend know, Oreo’s are his fav food!
@ohheavenlyday: It was really rich, I shared it with my Mum. I never knew anyone did this until i saw a show and there was a shop that specialized in deep fried chocolate bars and i wanted to try it 😛

@Blue-Bird: This is not new in MN, deep fried candy bars have been around for quite some time. Though I have never seen the cadburry egg idea.

Yum! Fiance and I just had deep fried Resse’s cups and deep fried cookie dough for dessert at a bar the other day. Deelish!
