My fiance is a huge deer hunter and so I want to find a cake design to suprise him with.  I have not found one that I like yet as most replicas of the deer are cheesy...does anyone have a suggestion??

What about one in camo icing? Not too crazy on the design, but everyone will know it's for a hunter.

Here's a few I found online that weren't too cheesy.  I just did a google image search.

i think i like the idea of combing both...doing a two tiered cake with camo and maybe a smaller mold of a deer either as the topper or in addition on the side or something...what do you think?

    What about a cake topper?

    Or a woodsy looking cake?

    Or a sillier cake?

whitesonnet-i love that one! and then i could decorate the table with his hunting things, maybe shotgun shells and pictures of him to make it more hunting, not just outdoors. what do you think??

I really like the last one - it's hunting-esque without being too macabre!

I couldn't help myself on Googling this one!  This was the cake I found that I liked the best!

I like it of course, but just google "camo cake", that's where I pulled them from. There was actually a result that went to a WB board about groom cakes, someone had posted a photo of a tree stump cake with a heart on it, very woodsy!

I like the one missomally found the best!! It's still classy enough for a wedding.
