I've been told to use diluted tea tree oil, (or maybe aveda tto products, I'm cheap and just buy the oil and mix it with water....) because it has astingent properties- no more oily skin! Works great on pimples, and mixed with shampoo- works on dandruff too.

My skin has calmed down considerably since high school, but I still struggle with oily skin as an adult. I don't generally care enough to take serious precautions against oil on a day-to-day basis since I work in a pretty casual environment, but, obviously, the wedding is going to be a different story. Here's my plan of attack, which is open for suggestions and reviews of individual products:
I'm using Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel as my moisturizer and covering it with OC Eight. (I went to http://www.biopelle.com/products/oceight/contact/ and asked for a few free samples- they sent me three. Since this product if about $40 on Amazon, I'm going to save a sample for the wedding!) It's supposed to essentially form a barrier between your skin and your makeup, holding the oil in for up to eight hours at a time.
For makeup I'm using liquid Max Factor base, covered by MAC Studio Fix and L'Oreal Translucide (loose powder with a slight shimmer). My blush will probably be something rosy and matte and cheap from CoverGirl. I've tried some higher end blushes and don't really see the difference between those and the cheap stuff, so CoverGirl it is. :)
I discovered L'Oreal's High Intensity Pigments line about a year ago and LOVE IT. This stuff never, ever runs on my oily eyelids. I've never worn a black eyeliner that didn't find its way to the corners of my eyes until this one. I've heard good things about Rimmel Volume Flash The Max mascara from makeupalley.com, so I'm going to give that a try between now and the wedding.
The main reason why I'm posting this is because I've noticed that a lot of the recommendations for makeup for weddings are based on entire brands rather than individual products. For example, although I love L'Oreal's eye makeup, I hate their liquid foundation. If anyone has any comments on their experiences with these products or recommendations for makeup for oily-skinned gals, feel free to post!
