trying hanging it upside down from the innermost layer or two. what kind of fabric is it made of? i wonder if you could spray some starch on it.
@cardus: Awesome! It's just tulle and some kind of lining fabric (probably some kind of polyester).
I haven't had this problem, yet, but a solution might be that you have to go layer by layer starting in the inside and going out and stretch the tulle back out along the bottom. I have seen pageant mom's doing it to their daughter's crinolines in the local dress store.

Did anyone's crinoline "de-poof" when you washed it?
We had heard so many horror stories of dresses going to the dry cleaners. So we got some Woolite and washed the dress and crinoline. It worked great, except I think the crinoline is not as full as it used to be.
Anyone else have this issue? How can I "re-poof" it? LOL!
