What deodorant are you wearing come wedding day? Or which did you wear? Would you recommend one or not recommend one? Please also include month/weather conditions of your wedding!

    Thanks!

Our wedding is August 1st in Missouri.  So, it's probably going to be incredibly humid and pretty hot.  I'll probably wear Lady Mitchum.  If you feel like you need the extra boost though, begin using Certain Dry  a month or so before.  Follow the directions though...and don't even think about using it anywhere other than your underarms.

I like Degree clinical strength. For some reason, I've had problems with a lot of deodorants - apparently I have sensitive skin on my underarms and they make me all itchy.  The degree works for me (and I started using it when I lived in hot humid Louisiana).

Secret Platinum is my deodorant of choice - even if I accidentally skip a day, it still works!!  I haven't tried Secret Clinical Strength though, so that might work better...

I would recommend any of the "clinical strength" deoderants for the big day.  You apply them the night before when you go to bed.  It's gone by the next day, no flaky white stuff, no armpit nastiness like gels can leave.  And girl does it keep you dry!!!

If you are using the clinical strength, just make sure to test it out for a bit beforehand. I was using Secret Clinical Strength, and I found that it was actually giving me little bumps under my arm. It seemed like the deodorant was so strong that it was blocking up the pores. Although its nice not to sweat, I certainly don't want bumps!

So I've switched back to Degree.

I was married on August 16th, 2008, in Albany NY.  August here is normally very hot and humid.  So i went with a spary deodorant. I didn't trust the "clear" brands to not leave somehting on my dress...they are never quite clear enough.  And with the spray i could use it everywhere..my back, underarms, under the dress.  And i felt dry and clean all day long.

I'm a huge fan of Secret Ciinical Strength. Love the effectiveness and how you use it the night before for no residue the next day. I agree that with any new product, it's important to test it ahead of the Big Day, especially if you have sensitive skin.

I've actually been using Dove Radiant Silk because it is one of those with 1/4 moisturizers to minimize bumps and keep the underarm smooth (and yes, it actually does seem to minimize the bumps and irritation). I'm getting married the first weekend in July, so I'll be testing several of these on here for the big day since it will be hot and humid. Dove usually works just fine for day-to-day, but I'll probably want something extra strength.

I have been using the Secret Clinical Strenght for awhile and it works! I'm usually someone who sweats when I get nervous (never good for guest lecturing - I always get nervous...), but it really stops me from sweating. Haven't tried the other clinical strenghts, but I think they would work just as well.

I actually used Kiehl's deodorant for the big day and it was AHmazing.  It's not your typical deodorant stick--it's more like this really really thick lotion that squeezes out and you rub it in but it totally worked.  plus, it was odorless and didn't interfere with my (very light) perfume.  i'd HIGHly recommend it--i was so dry and didn't have to worry about it at all--no smudges on anybody when hugging, no dampness, no odor.  i applied it right when i got up, and once more right before putting on the dress for extra precaution.  it's more expensive, but the tube has still lasted me (my wedding was in november).  try it!

I recommend Secret Clinical Strength deodorant.  Secret is effective and does last all-day with mininal residue compared to Dove based upon my experience with using both brands.  However, I did notice that whenever I shaved my underarms and applied the deodorant, the deodorant would only be moderately effective in suppressing sweat.  However, when I waxed or plucked my underarms and then applied deodorant, the deodorant was actually much, much more effective in suppressing sweat/wetness even when I was sweating or hot.  Thus, I concluded that waxed/plucked underarms in conjuction with Secret Clinical Strength deodorant usage produced the driest condition for me!

Im wearing Dove Ultimate Clear.  It's the same deodorant that I wear every day. I live in southeast Louisiana with temperatures in the upper 80's to low 90's with about 90% humidity in the summer, so it works really well.

Plus, it has moisturizers in it, so it keeps my armpits really soft (wow, that was a weird sentence!).  Just make sure that you let it dry before you put your dress on.  If you put your clothes on immediately after, it will leave white streaks.
