I've been using Dove Clinical Protection. It's a little pricey but it works great! I don't get that end of the day smell anymore. Cheaper brands I'd have to re-apply to go out in the evenings. It's been wonderful!! It's about $7-$8
I use Crystal Stick. It goes on clear, never rubs off, and gives you protection all day. And if you're really worried about smell and sweat, you can always add something on top of it. i like Trader Joe's unscented Clear Cotton which goes on clear and has never rubbed off on my clothes. Neither has ever given me those ugly white chunks under my arms like some deorderants do, and, being hyper allergic to almost all deoderants on the market, I've never had an adverse reaction to either. The Crystal Stick is $5-$7 depending where you get it, but it garenteed to last a whole year! And the Joe's stuff is around $3.
I've been using the Certain Dri roll-on for about 6 weeks now and it works like nothing else. I ony use it a few times a week (at night). THen I use my normal stuff in the am. I'm not even sweating under my arms when I work out! I paid about $4 for it at Target.
i, too, am a big fan of the dove clinical protection! it does exactly what it's supposed to do without drying out or irritating my insanely sensitive skin.
the dove clinical makes me sweat worse, and my MOH too (i gave her my extra one, and it didn't work for her either). I use the Secret clinical, that works best for me.
Degree's clinical strength is amazing too! You can bet I'll be using it...and so will my girls!
I'm on the lookout for something new, also. My problem is that there doesn't seem to be something that prevents the "end of the day smell" and that doesn't make a mess on your clothes.
I really like Suave in "Fresh" scent. It keeps my clothes clean and keeps me fresh all day.
I use Secret Clinical. It's really great but drys out my underarms completely so I only use it every other day and alternate with an aloe deoderant. I did hear that people get botox in their underarms to prevent sweat. Definitely not something I would consider for ordinary days, but for my wedding...well it's a possibility.
I used to be a firm believer in Secret Platinum until I tried Secret Flawless Touch which works even better in my experience and doesn't stain or have white residue like most. I've tried every other brand out there that also claims to be the best and they don't work at all from what I have tested, including Secret Clinical Strength.
I have tried EVERYTHING. Seriously. When I started losing weight it is like my body chemistry changed and nothing was working for me. I eventually started using the degree clinical strength and it is fantastic.
I've posted this on a few deodarant threads, but I use Kiehl's unisex deodarant and it's awesome. It's unscented which is absolutely key if you have an odor problem like I used to and I never have pit stains or anything when I use it. My clothes also never smell. It's pricey, like $15 for a tube, but it lasts so long - the packaging holds a lot.
I use some natural hippy-stuff since aluminum in anti-perspirants scares me. :P
I was going to dig up this post and add- I took a shower at night and accidently put the Certain Dri on after ( I had shaved my underarms). Don't EVER put that stuff on right after shaving! I hadn't had any problems with it before but that night, my underarms were so itchy and stingy:( Only use it at night when you haven't just showered/shaved.
I use Funk Butter go here for the website. http://oyinhandmade.com/oyin/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7
I love this stuff. It is natural so don't be shocked if it takes your body a few days to get use to it. Also it take a couple of weeks to get it becuase they make it for you when you order it. I stay dry and smell free all day. I love this stuff and don't want them ever to go out of business.
Ive used so many deodorants and I like Degree. Ive bought the $11 Clinical Protection but I think my pits still stunk at the end of my work day. I don't really sweat much, but with the clinical protection, it tells you to apply before bed then again in the morning. I didn't do that, so maybe it would have worked better if I did.
I use dove clinical protection and it works great for me. My FI was out of deodorant one day and had to use it and it worked great even on him.
My deodorant is from Kiehl's - it isn't cheap but I love the stuff. It is a lotion, I put it on after shower in the morning and I feel like it provides great odor protection. It isn't irritating after shaving either. It costs me about $16 for a large tube but I buy a new one every 10 months or so, it lasts a long time. It is something with orange peel. And I notice white marks on my shirts much less now that I am using it. Highly recommend it - they also sell a smaller tube so you can try it out for something like 9 or 10 if you want.
I'm really the odd one out here, but I SWEAR by Axe deodorant/anti-p and to me, it doesn't smell too "manly." I just think they make men's deodorant soo much better than women's.
I use Crystal deoderant and I. Never. Smell. I can't recall the last time I smelled my own BO.
If I'm going to be out and need an antiperspirant, I'll swipe on a little Dove Go Fresh once the Crystal dries. Does the trick.
I use Certain Dri every two or three days (not on a day I shaved!). Every single day I use SecretDri Solid but I like Dove too especially in the cucumber scent.
