The girl that did my makeup used to work at MAC.  You probably should hire the people to do your makeup outside of the department store.  I don’t think that they are going to be able to take care of your whole wedding party right there.

I think it’s going to be insanity if you take your bridesmaids and yourself to a makeup counter in a department store. I would be worried about timing and making sure you’re all done, especially if there are other customers around. I would hire someone to come to you instead of going into a store for it.

I’ve never done it for a wedding;) but I used to go to the Estee Lauder counter to get my makeup done for dances and it always turned out ok.  Maybe a little more makeup then I was used to wearing, but the overall effect looked nice and lasted all night.

If there’s a specific make-up artist you like at a counter,  ask her if she would be interested in doing bridal make-up for you and the bridesmaids at your wedding location!

I plan on getting mine done at the Benefit counter, I’m just not sure if I will get it done at the store or at the wedding location – the Benefit make-up artist I like does bridal make-up on the side:-)
