Has anybody done this? I've been getting microdermabrasion for a few months with good results. The esthetician that i go to recommended dermaplaning as the next step but, after Googling it, I think it sounds kind of scary.

I have had micro but not the derma. Why would you want to do the derma if the micro is going well? I have had a chemical peel (which worked really well just do NOT pull on the skin when it starts peeling!)

I just looked into the dermaplaning and yes it does sound a little scary. I have read the pros and cons and thats really up to you. I guess it boils down to what look you are trying to achieve. Also, why are you trying to look that way? Is there really anything wrong now, or is it just because?

I've got deep acne scars on my cheeks. The dermaplaning is actually significantly cheaper than the microdermabrasian, which is why I'm leaning that way. But it does sound scary. Maybe I should stick with peels! ; )

I have recived Dermaplaning many times, as well as, preformed Dermaplaning on my clients. I get many requests before weddings as it helps to redefine the jaw line and give the skin a much smoother appearance than just microdermabrasion alone.

Also, ask your Esthetician if she could add an enzyme or a light splash of latic to help increase moisture and give you a really readiant glow.

You won't regret it. The results are unbelievable.

Thanks, Lauren! That's good to know! I think I'm going to go ahead and have it done, so I'll report back to everybody.
