No midnight kiss here. SO and I were at his friends house. He was outside smoking. I told him when he came in a couple of minutes later he was too late and he gave me a kiss. No tongue, but not a peck. Still wished it could’ve been at midnight.

@LuluInLove:  FI went to work NYE at 4am. He has been battling a cold for a week. By midnight his cold was getting the best of him. FI was half sleeping and I kissed him on the forehead and he said “happy wedding year.” And that was that.

SO wasn’t near me, so I gave silly dog a huge kiss on his dumb wet nose.

@LuluInLove:  I drank too much bubbly and passed out on our living room floor. Hubby woke me up during the count down and kissed me when midnight struck. I immediantely ran to the bathroom afterwards to puke up all of my indugences. It was special in it’s own way lol

@LuluInLove:  Your story is so funny and cute!

My New Year’s kiss and experience this year was probably the most interesting one… My fiancé and I were at Disneyland, and at around 11:55 pm, he saw a guy punch his girlfriend in the face. My fiancé said he heard the impact of the punch since the couple was near us. The guy ended up breaking his gf’s glasses! I just heard my fiancé scream at the guy and told him to NEVER hit a woman. FI continued to yell at him and all the guy did was comfort his gf and say sorry to her. The next thing we know, it was already 12 am and when we saw the fireworks, the couple had already walked away. I’m glad my FI and the guy didn’t get into any physical altercations, but we felt so bad for the girl.

Our kiss was just a short kiss on the lips. We were kinda sad that the other couple made us miss the countdown, but i am proud of my FI for standing up to the girl and started the new year right. My parents were also with us, so we didn’t get to have a full-on New Year’s kiss!

Happy New Year to you and the hubby!

Our kiss was a series of short kisses, rather than a lingering kiss. It was nice.

Then a drunk girl with a sex whip started gently flogging us. Undecided

Romantic and dreamy! We were at home with the baby asleep. We don’t watch TV but we could see a fireworks show from our living room window. We made out while reminiscing about the first time we both said “I love you” which was on New Year’s Eve three years ago. Then we had sex on the floor under the Christmas tree. I’ve decided we’re going to make that a New Year’s tradition! (At least until our daughter is old enough to stay up for midnight.)

Just a lovely lip peck. FI was busy filming the MADNESS of fireworks viewed from our window. It was insane!

Hubby and I both agreed that it wasn’t out of a movie scene ‘dreamy’ but it was us. As midnight struck, we shared a couple of (drunken) short kisses, followed by a longer kiss. It was perfect. It was also our five year anniversary on New Years Day, so we celebrated two things that day 🙂

None here either. FI was at a party which I didn’t want to go to, so I stayed home and watched movies, and was in bed by 10.30! But we had a late New Year’s kiss the following day, which was nice 🙂

@prahajess: It really was. We felt so bad for her. She was crying so much. We regret not being able to do more (like call the cops) but they left so quickly right when the fireworks started. My FI looked for them, but they were gone.

Edit: Sorry, I meant “stand up for the girl” on my first post.
