I would like to stay in my current town, but in an old Victorian home with lots of character. 2 kids, a boy and a girl and 2 dogs….. A golden doodle and a Newfoundlander

A nice home in the burbs of a larger city, one kid (boy) maybe two (ideally one boy one girl), and two cats.

A nice two level house in a large city (currently wishing on Philly or Minneapolis), me, my SO, three kids (preferably a girl and two boys), lots of cats and a Dalmatian.

House in the suburbs of our (big) city, 2 kids (hopefully 1 boy for him, 1 girl for me), one large-breed dog.

We’re boring.

@Bebealways:  I have a few ideals in my head, which is why it is so hard to decide. We already own the house we want to stay in, and we are debating between one kid or no kids (I have an equal amount of persuasive arguments for both sides). If we have a kid, we both want a boy (so we will end up with a girl :P) and we would love to have at least four dogs (no cats, we both hate them). I want to retire early, and in my view without kids, we could 😛 We could also travel more.

Me, My DH, two kids (boy first, girl second or two boys–ironically i am 15 weeks pregnant and so far all signs are pointing to girl), stay in our house we just bought–its perfect size, great location and great schools and have two cats.

2-3 kids, big house with a big yard in a suburb.  Close to the train or commuter rail for FI to get to work (I drive).  Maybe a cat or two!

I would like to live by my family (instead of 2 hours away).  Me, DH, and our 3 lovely cats (check!) plus 3 or 4 future kids.  I definitely want both boys and girls!

@Bebealways:  At least a 3 hour drive from all our parents, 1 or 2 cats and/or a small to medium-sized dog. I don’t really want kids, but if we happen to have a kid, I would want them to have at least 1 or 2 siblings. Being an only child is terribly boring and lonely, even now.

Have absolutely no idea where we’ll settle down. Husband got into a few grad schools in Europe but since he has a job now he doesn’t see the point…not going to lie I was excited at the idea of living abroad even for a few years. We’ve discussed parts of Canada, and the general New England area as possibilities…he’s really outdoorsy and I’m a little bit more-so since I’ve met him.

Half of me wants to just live in an apartment/townhouse and the other half likes the idea of an actual house because we could really have guests over when they’re in town and I do like entertaining.

DH and three kids, two girls one boy. Two cats. A fairly large apartment in either manhattan or Chicago. An old school nanny (preferably not live-in) that old school disciplines lol.

Our current home (with everything done on the project list), Mr. LK and I, teen Lk, and 2 more kids very close in age (gender doesn’t matter), plus 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a dozen or so chickens. So basically add 2 more kids, 1 more dog, and the chickens, and my life will be complete. Bonus points if we can afford a full-time nanny. 🙂
