Ha, I love that show.  I haven’t run into anything like that, but I don’t think you need to change your theme for the show.  It’s funny because people like to put birds on things and people like to put birds on things because then they’re cute/stylish/quirky.

I would call you on trend.

Haha! Glad you are not crushed you have to change the theme! Any idea what you are changing it to?

I really liked the idea of incorporating peacock feathers in my wedding until I found it it is one of the hot trends for 2011. I scrapped the idea because I don’t want people to have already been to a peacock themed wedding before mine. Fortunately it wasn’t that big of a deal to scrap it because I was very early in the process at that point.

I was wanting to use a lot of black and white damask and fuschia originally, in my wedding decor because I loved the look. then I started seeing it everywhere and i second guessed myself. Now I am toying with several different ideas, but I keep coming back to the damask. Maybe it is overdone right now, but I think I may just do it anyway.

Yes, definitely. I have always loved birds and speckled eggs in nests, I have a few handmade nests in my apartment and thought it would be perfect.  When I went to my first bridal website after getting engaged, I realized the trend was everywhere. So I’m scrapping it.
