I love the way you can just change the colorscheme to fit your colors or just you! I would like to add some bling to the toe though. A vintage rhinestone brooch might do the trick!
which style and heel height did you like? I am partial to the d'orsay with 4" heel!
Oooooh even their regular wedding line is gorgeous. Elke LS in dark blue satin looks VERY similar to the Sex in the City shoe (Jimmy Choo I believe?) that Carrie wore when she got married..WITHOUT going terribly over budget! (it's cheaper than the design your own btw!)
I like the d'orsay with the 4" heel as well. Love those high heels!
I thought the same thing about the Elke LS! Carrie's shoe was a Manolo Blahnik called "Something Blue." They are $945 right now at Neiman's.

But Elke does look similar..and for several hundred less...Same gorgeous look. If you buy over 100$, they send their version of foot petals free!

This is so fun! I don't think it'll work for me...I love Nina and I've been wishing for a 4 inch "Culver" style in a sapphire blue. China Blue is too light, and the navy looks too dark for what I'm picturing in my head. But this is still fun! I may order the blue satin Elkes from Zappos so I can at least see them in person, and send them back if the color is wrong. Bellenga, thank you for posting this.

Hrmm, i only see 3 different styles, Paladin, Electra and Culver, is this just my browser?? How many different styles do you ladies see??
Right now they have the 3 different styles as far as I can see too. You might want to call them to see if they offer more styles that aren't online.
I LOVE the Elke. If they put that one on there as a DOY shoe, I'm IN! I love the culver 4" but would add a vintage brooch rhinestone clip for some va voom.

has anyone ordered these? I ordered 2 pairs from Zappos so I could try on sizes since the Custom ones on Nina aren't returnable. And the 3.25 heel (as advertised on Zappos) is ENORMOUS, like 5 inches. I tried Nina's customer service and explained but she so had no idea what I was talking about. I'm wondering if they really make a REAL 3.25 inch heel?
I have 2 pairs of nina heels (one black and one red) just for one lbd that I own, and they feel GREAT! i also love the Marciano shoes I got (the Tessa) which is my big day shoe thus far (I am a shoe-a-holic and need shoe-hab!) and they are terribly comfy too!
I'd order if it were me from the nina site. Theirs is ok and on the money. I actually have not ordered from zappos before. I either stalk and buy THE shoe from the designer or if it's pricey go into the store first and try it on then bargain shop online.
the ones I ordered from Zappos are the nina electra ones you can custon make. They are really comfy but I am so confused regarding the heel height. Zappos said they were 3.25 high but they are WAY higher. So I'm weary of ordering the 3.25 high ones from nina because they are non returnable.
Are Nina shoes usually a really high heel?
Hmm, I was gonna order some Nina shoes from zappos, but not if they're going to be super high. Guess I'll just have to suck it up and go to a store....
I like the idea of designing your own, and the price is good....but they don't have any colors I like/need/want!! Come on Nina! Haha.
I've been stalking the Nina Elke on Zappos for quite a while, and I swear it used to say 4" heel. I just checked now after reading this thread and it says 4 1/4"! Even at 5'0", that might be too much for me to handle...

This is really nice. I was thinking of using shoes I already have. But I might just have to buy a pair of this. 
The Nina Elkes are gorgeous in person (not that I'm biased or anything) - I wore the blue luster ones for my wedding, and how cool is it they got to make two appearances in the featured gallery section?

I just might do this..although I have one shoe, that I still think is THE shoe and the most gorgeous ever (Tessa by Marciano I have in the box, covered and protected with shoe bag too never worn off my carpet).
