I'm no seamstress, but that looks like it might be pretty easy to recreate. It seems to have simple lines, and the lace is just a band. I would research some dress makers in your area and bring in the pictures. Just remember to buy nice fabrics; that is what makes a gown!
not hard if you find a talented seamstress. Find one that can create her own patterns

Hello there my fellow Bees!
I've been snooping around the boards for at least a month and have gotten lots of great advice from you all. Now, though, I've got a question for you all...
I've fallen in love with a designer dress. It is $3000 and way out of my price range. It's Alvina Valenta style#9801. I went and tried on the dress today (and no, it didn't fit. My caboose is a size 14 and these dresses were a size 10) and fell even more in love. My question to you all is, how difficult do you think it would be to recreate this dress through a professional seamstress?
