There's no limit! But, I would say that a designer veil could cost between $200-400 dollars.
I would suggest going another route and saving your mom some money!
I recommend veil shop. Depending on the design and the designer of your dress, many bridal shop veils are mega moolah. For example, I have a Jasmine Couture dress, adn the "matching" veil...cost over $600. Many veils cost even more than that. I would definitely go with veilshop.com, if I were you! :)
wow ok! I think my mom is getting hung up on matching lace on the dress to the veil... I feel like i'm having to talk her into spending less! this is the only aspect of the wedding where this is the case LOL
I got mine from DesignsbyLana on ebay and I am really happy with it.
i got a beaded designer mantilla veil and it was $225 (fingertip length). i also got a play veil for my boudoir shoot from veilshop.com that was $55 (cathedral length). the beading wasn't the same but everything else pretty much was. i mean, it's tulle...

hi all -- i am going to my first gown fitting at the end of the month, and the bridal shop is going to be making the veil (unless other arrangements are made)
what is the average cost of a "designer" veil? my mom wants to mentally prepare for a worst case scenario that may come up when we get to veil costs.
also - what's the best place to buy online if they are just out of our budget? veilshop.com??
thank you!
