There are a couple dresses I’m interested in that come in a number of different colors. However, the stores I’ve been to only have 1 of those colors, so I have no idea what the other colors look like. Do the designers have catalogs or something so you can see what all the different color variations look like? If it’s between white and ivory, that’s usually pretty easy. But, just an example, Casablanca 1936 comes in White/White, White/Champagne, Ivory/Ivory, Ivory/Champagne, Champagne/Champagne, and Platinum/Platinum. I can’t even tell what these color desriptions are talking about (with this dress having satin underneath and netting with beading on top, what are the two colors describing – the satin, the beading? What might platinum/platinum look like?). Here is the model pic – I can’t tell what color it is:
And the one I tried on – I also don’t know what color this is, but it doesn’t look the same as the model:
Or, the Casablanca 2005, which comes in (this is as quoted exactly from the Casablanca website) “Ivory/Champagne Silk/Silver- White/Silver, Diamond White/Silver, Ivory/Ivory/Silver, Champagne/Silver, Gold/Silver, Platinum/Silver” (how confusing). Here is the model:
I’m pretty sure the model is Ivory/Champagne. Here is the one I tried on, and I don’t have any idea which color it is:
So, how are we supposed to know other color variations look like so we can decide which one we like best?
