My fiance and I are going to PR to get married. I need some information or if anyone can recommend a consultant down there. All we need is an oficiant and a photographer… and witnesses if you need those in PR, not sure on that.
I know what I need to do as far as getting the marriage lisence. I know that I have to set up an appointmentt at the Demographic Registry and I need to bring the medical certification with the blood tests and I need the non residency affidavit, and both of our birth certificates and our photo id and my divorce decree.
I’m wondering 1 other thing besides getting an officiant and photographer, is where can we find a doctor who can authenticate our blood tests that we are getting here in the US? We’re just going to go to our regular doc for the blood tests but they are only valid for 10 days so I think as soon as we get into the hotel there we’d like to get to a doc to validate and then the very next day get over to the Demographic Registry so we don’t run out of time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. We haven’t chosen a hotel yet either, so I’m hoping that I can get one that has a wedding consultant or someone willing to help with these little details and just point us in the right direction. Money is no object at this point. After 12 years and planning 2 weddings that never happened, we just want to do this and have a romantic time to ourselves and move on with life.
