I think you look great in both but I don't like the sash thing on the second one.
I like 1 better for the way it streamlines your torso and body.
I like 2 better because your arms look better.
Am torn. If I had to had to pick one I would pick #1.
I think you look gorgeous in both, but the first is maybe a bit more streamlined, have you thought about a slightly wider sash in a lighter colour? I'm thinking that playing around with the sash might bring out your curves even more, plus you look like you have an hourglass shape, not an apple!
Number 1 just looks so much more beautiful on you! Please get that one! (and I've seen it on a few brides on here, and you're the first person that I've liked it on)
Everything about it is better - the colour, the lace, the ribbon on your waist.
Somehow the patches of lace on the second one just, well, makes it look like there's a lot of fabric there.
If I went to your wedding and saw you in the first dress, I would think "What a beautiful bride", if I went and saw you in the second dress, I'm afraid I'd think "Well, she did her best for a plus-sized girl"
I'm the same height as you, and I've been 200lbs in the past, (and at 160lbs, I'm still very conscious of my weight, and of being bigger than all my friends and bridesmaids) so I know how important it is to feel that people are looking at you, and not at your weight.
I hope you're not offended - it's really not meant that way!
Well, I'm the first to prefer no. 2. :) The lace looks better I think and it's more interesting.
I love #1 on you...as a fellow curvy girl, I love the silhouette that it gives you!! Either choice, you'll look fabulous!! CONGRATS!!
I like #2 best! I just think the dress looks nicer on you :) best of luck!
This was a hard one. I think I prefer number one but I also think you should modify it to a sweetheart neckline. Speaking as a fellow busty apple girl who is the same size as you, I'm telling you right now that a sweetheart neckline is your absolute best friend. If you want, I can show you a picture my my gown to illustrate that point, but I don't want to hijack your thread.
Final answer - Number one, and alter it to a sweetheart neckline!
I like number 2 better and I'm plus size, but I also like the fancier/less plain stuff.
I really like the 1st dress. It looks great on you! Seriously! It's super flattering.
I *like* the first dress better- it's just more my style. However, for some reason I think the second one is more flattering on you. I think the first one doesn't fit as well up top? And I think the second one smooths out your curves in a way. But you could probably get that effect on the first one with a slightly wider sash.
They are both pretty but first dress looks more flattering, the 2nd makes your hips look bigger... no good!
I like the color of the second one on you better. The first one is so white. I feel like the second one is just very elegant
first dress.... but different sash! try a thicker band either in a bright color like green or pink or something like that, or a crystal belt. that will bring in your waste. you might also want to try an ivory sash with a crystal pin.
good luck! you look great!
Dress #1 looks stunning on you... It gives you a great shape !!
I agree with Encore - as a fellow apple, I was amazed at what a difference a sweetheart neckline makes. If you could get the first one modified with a sweetheart neckline, my vote is for that one! Otherwise - and I know it's hard when you feel you've narrowed it down - you might want to try on a few that have that neckline.

Hello everyone!
I am getting married in OCtober and am desperately stuck between 2 gowns! Luckily both are available at my local david's bridal so all I need to do is go pick one up but I'm sooo torn!
Heres a bit about me! I'm 5 foot 6 about 200lbs- a pretty typical apple shape (carrying all my weight around the middle). I wear a size 16 in jeans and in wedding gowns I've been a pretty consistent 18 or 20.
Please let me know your thoughts!
Gown one- 9ct2406 all lace ivory ballgown ( jessica simpson knock off )
Gown two= 9t9211 ivory and champagne aline lace gown with swiss dots and illusion neckline
