I just got a cake, but my venue included a buffet with fruit and ladyfingers and caramel for dipping.
I love candy bars, I think they are so fun and give the guests something fun to munch on through the night! I am also having a small cake that my FI and I will cut, and then we want to have cupcake cakes for everyone else to pick what 'flavor' they want! I think it will be really fun. I think that no matter what you do, people will love it and eat it! Everyone always gets hungry around 11 pm after dancing and having fun!
We are having cake, small dessert table, chocolate fountain and a candy buffet! I have a huge sweet tooth if you can't tell. (I wanted pies too, but had to draw the line somewhere.)
cake and candy bar. A few candies or some boxed (teeny box) macaroons as a favor.
Not sure yet. I don't have a huge sweet tooth and we're not having a huge wedding, but I will have a decent size cake so everybody will get their fill of the brides' cake and grooms' cake and something sweet to go!
We're having cupcakes and a cutting cake... and our favors will be edible sweets as well ;)
The same as doctorgirl, cupcakes, 8" cake on top tier for cutting, and cookie buffet for favors. The great thing is that the cupcakes are so moist and delicious and the price is less than if we had ordered a tiered cake!
We had cake (spice cake with apple pie filling) and an ice cream bar! The ice cream bar was a HUGE hit - there was a server scooping ice cream and each guest was free to put on toppings as they wished. I would do that agin in a heartbeat.

What is everyone doing for their desserts?
I am struggling on this one, as I want a traditional cake, but my caterer is letting me bring in my own desserts and they will set up a nifty dessert table for us at no extra charge - so of course, I am wanting to take full advantage of this! I am just hoping it's not sweets overload with a cake AND a dessert table (this includes a cupcake bar, donuts, and candy). What is everyone else doing??
