@springwed8:  How funny! You replied to me on the Augusta Jones thread so I went to look at your posts and saw this! As you know, I am also wearing Jessie by AJ and to my great surprise, I chose full length chiffon gowns from Dessy for my bridesmaids! I'm going with the Dessy After Six Collection 6639 in rose, celadon, and cameo - 2 girls in each color so 6 total in 3 shades!

@springwed8:  This is going to be a slightly useless response i guess...given that i dont have pictures

BUT i went with bridesmaids a few weeks ago to look at dresses, and compared Dessy with alfred angelo, satin with chiffon, short with long

And long chiffon looked awesome! saphire blue, and my girls looked great in it.for some reason i cant find 6621 on the website, but its 6620 but long - and looks way better than it does it the picture.

so thats what ive gone for. unfortunately i dont have a picture yet and the dresses wont arrive for a few months

Hi!  I don't have pictures yet because my ceremony isn't until next Saturday (the 20th) - BUT, my maids are wearing Dessy long chiffon dresses in 4 different styles in Charcoal gray, so I will have pics.

I can tell you, I've seen 3/4 styles on people, and they really are quite pretty.  Great color selection, great fabric (not shiny at all, which I had been a little concerned about) and (I tried one on) very comfortable.  They also have great mix-and-match styles, which was great for my girls.  Some people wanted something they could wear with a bra, some liked one shoulder, some liked flowers, some....you get the picture :)

Also, I can completely assure you that Dessy has the best customer service ever.  8 of my bridesmaids ordered from House of Brides, which was a disaster.  Last week, we still had not received 4 of them (less than 2 weeks until the wedding!)  While House of Brides has been a pain to work with and failed on pretty much everything with this order, Dessy swooped in and saved the days, 2-day shipping the dresses to  me directly and talking to me umpteen bajillion times to get it sorted out.

Anyway, the four styles we'll have are:

    • After Six, 6638, Charcoal Gray
    • Dessy, 2859, Charcoal Gray
    • After Six, 6613, Charcoal Gray
    • After Six, 6611, Charcoal Gray

I'll try to remember to come back and post photos - I can't wait to see the whole group all fancied up :)

I just got mine, I was really concerned about the colour because the colours on the website look completely different to real life! But thankfully, I LOVE them! They are all wearing style 2860 in mocha.

    @futuremrsk18:

That dress is $224 in the store, but I'm going to have my girls purchase it online since it's about $60 less that way. I don't have any more pics of it now, but I'll get some this weekend when my sisters try it on. It's a really pretty dress and it looks even better in person!

@caramelove:  i think these dresses seem to be a lot more expensive in the UK.. if you say that dress is $224, and similar ones i've looked at in the range are the same price in GBP!

I think so.. I priced dessy dresses locally. Several stores had most styles $149-$189.

@springwed8:  they are definitely more expensive in the UK (i guess because theyre imported)

the long dresses i bought....style 6621 were 260 pounds from a shop in canary wharf. ouch! i loved them though

@laurelewrigley:  I don't have the dresses yet but I just got a notification that they were shipped! I've seen other weddings with cameo (I googled Dessy Cameo) and it looks reallynice, like a soft pinky beige.  I chose cameo, rose, and celadon :)

Hi ladies! I wanted to let you know that I got my bridesmaid dresses in the mail today, a month early! I ordered them on November 18th and was told mid-end of February but they already arrived! They were packaged well and not even wrinkled!  The only thing I'd note is that the colors are slightly darker than they appeared online and the sizes run pretty large.  I tried on a size 0 and it was huge in the breast area and I'm a 32D! The length was suuuper long too.  I got cameo, rose, and celadon.  Cameo is a gorgeous pale pinkish beige and I love it.  Rose is a bit darker than the baby pink I was expecting.  Celadon is a bit less minty and more sagey than it looks online.  But overall they are all really pretty and great quality!! I'm very happy with this purchase!!

My girls are wearing Alfred Sung part of the Dessy group.  We ordered them in Dupioni Silk (my dress is that fabric as well) in the color midnight and the dresses came out beautiful!! The quality of the dress is really fantastic.  They were 180 and I can't wait to see them all in it.

@laurelewrigley:  Did you see my latest reply on this thread? I got the dresses in and the cameo is amazing!! The rose is a bit darker than I wanted, but still very pretty.  I was looking for baby pink and rose is definitely a shade darker than that but still a soft pink.  Cameo is a gorgeous blush/beige color and it's actually my favorite.
