I think any store that carries that brand will be able to order it for you even if its not in stock. I don’t know how many bridal shops carry that line, but I’m sure theres one in your area because its a pretty popular company.

Yup exactly. They have a store locator on the website. FInd a store near you that carries the size you want and go try it on.  I got Dessy dresses for my bridesmaids.  We tried them on locally but actually ordered them through Netbride.com

Yep, that’s what we did–found the dress we wanted, looked at the size charts and got measurements, and ordered them from a retailer who carries them. We got ours from House of Brides online(houseofbrides.com) because they had the best prices I could find and had them shipped to me.

@stromantd: My BMs ordered Dessy dresses and they are beautiful and well made. I would recommend ordering from http://www.bestbridalprices.com. The service was excellent, the shipping was free and the prices were way better than every website and salon that I checked. Good luck!

i  ordered my Dessy dresses off of netbride.com for my wedding and for a friends wedding a few years ago. great service, no complaints and half the price of any bridal boutique.

i got my BM’s dresses from there. their sizes are pretty true to street sizes from what we ordered. i will check my email and see if i still have their sizing chart and will PM it to you. but right now they are about 9-10 weeks out for delivery. So dont wait too long.

I could really use some help.  My brother is getting married and the bride picked out the Dessy Twist Wrap Dress.  The pics I’ve seen of this dress are pretty revealing… open back, sleeveless, etc.  I am plus sized woman and I’m really concerned about the dress fitting me.  I am trying to find pictures of a plus sized woman wearing the dress or find a store that has it in stock for me to try on.

I’m desperate and worried about not fitting in the dress, so any help you could provide would be great!  I need to figure out if I should tell the bride that I can’t be in the wedding because the dress doesn’t fit.

@stromantd: Hey! OK what some of my girls did was just find a boutique near them that carried the dresses and try them on to see more or less what Dessy size they are.

The problem is though, that most places didn’t even have the right sizes, only sample sizes. So ordering is going to be based on a size chart regardless.

My girls ordered according to the size chart (some ordered a size up just incase). The size charts were quite accurate, and for those who are doing minor alterations, they are just going to their local seamtresses. Most bridal shops over charge you for the dress, and then over charge again for alterations.

My maids are all wearing different dresses, and all were true to size, and all are beautiful! Shipping was even earlier than we were told.

@stromantd: I’ve ordered Dessy dresses style 2723 and they are great quality. As a previous poster said you can order a style if a store doesn’t stock it. I had to order my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses from their measurements they gave me, they did get them done by a dressmaker etc but I am s*!t scared.
