I’m getting married in the Maya Rivieria next may/June (2013). I’ve heard airbrush makeup lasts much longer in the heat and humidity. Do any of you know what the average rate is for airbrushed makeup there ?
I was given a quote but I’ m not sure if it’s high or normal.
This is just for airbrushing makeup, I have friend/hair stylist doing my hair.
Bride $270USD incl trial
Does that seem reasonable?

@SupermansSweetheart: Hey! I live in Mérida Yucatán, just 4 hours away from the Riviera Maya and Cancun. I have had airbrush makeup once for a wedding, it really last longer than regular make up and it is a great choice for this weather.
I paid $500 pesos for the make up, that would be around $ 38-40 Dllrs, but if you are staying at a resort and having a make up artist going to your hotel for the service, it will definetly cost you more, usually for brides it costs 1,500 pesos and up ($100 dllrs). Cancun and Playa del Carmen have great makeup artist, but I would recommend you to check first costs at the spa on your resort, they usually have very professional people working for them. 🙂
