I am helping to plan mine, and we are going to Nashville! It is only a 3 hour drive, but worked well with everyone's budgets - plus so much fun!
Mine's in Vegas, my MOH asked me to rank my top 3 places and for a list of girls to invite. They took it from there.
@LGenz: thats a really good idea! I keep going back and forth with where I want it! I am ready to wipe my hands clean of planning! hahahaha
I told them 1. Vegas 2. Miami 3. Napa. But a couple of the girls went to UM for college so I don't think they were that excited about Miami.
Did any of you ever feel guilty about asking them to take a trip somewhere? I dont expect, nor will I get upset, when people say they cant come, but I still kind of feel bad asking!
We are going to San Diego! Most of us live in Texas so it will be a fun change of scenery for all of us! I had Miami in my top 3 choices but when we booked the trip the oil situation was still uncertain and I was wary of booking flights and hotel with the possibility of oil being on the beach.

MOH just went on a bach party to florida for her cousin... and we're saving napa for a fall wknd girls trip... so VEGAS was chosen! i'm the first out of our circle... minus my old college roomie from cali who just met all my other BM's for the first time... so i think it just kinda got planned unbeknownst to any of us... helps that i have the BEST MOH ever :)

@KES: Have you ever been to Miami? I hear its all clubs, which I like, but I also like laid back spots where we can roll in casually and have drinks!

Yes, I have been once before and loved it. I am not a huge club person but we went to one because we were in Miami and it was fun, it would be really fun for a bachelorette party! There is so much to do in Miami - if you stay in South Beach most of the hotels have nice pool areas and the beach is very close. There are clubs and bars so you can pick what kind of scene you want. We went to a club, a few regular bars and some hotel bars, a lot of which are rooftop level. The only thing that sucks is the drink are really expensive. Think $10-15 per drink.
@KES:Thats great info! Thanks! Unfortunately, living in NYC those drink prices are the norm for me! Its highway robbery! hahahaha
You know, a LOT of my friends couldn't make it to mine.. and I was okay with it. If I stayed local, I wouldn't be doing what I WANT for my bparty.. therefore I'm totally fine with whoever comes and doesnt. And + all my CLOSE friends are going anyway and that's really all that matters to me. :)
Yeah I figured in NY it might be simillar :) It was shocking for me!! haha
@ Hermit - I planned one of my best friends Bach Party in NO, it was a GREAT time!!!
I didn't expect a lot of girls to make it to mine and I was actually surprised at how many are going (9 including me). A smaller group is better anyway, getting 10+ girls anywhere is a logistical nightmare.
@Babychka: Thats how i am thinking too. I was torn about having it in Pittsburgh (where I am originally from) for convenience, but at the end of the day I realllllly want to go away with my girlfriends! I feel like we dont get to do it anymore!
@hermitcrab: I was thinking NO too! I am probably doing it in Jan though and I dont think the weather is that nice then......not positive though
@cabanagrl9:I have been planning mine because my sister is my MOH and she will being having a baby anytime the month before. I am doing a small road trip because I dont have a lot of money and neither do most of the girls that will be going. Any suggestions on areas within 3 hours from evansville, In?

Are any of you guys having a destination Bach Party??? If so, where? I live in NYC, but all of my best friends are scattered everywhere. Right now I am deciding btw Miami and Los Angeles. I used to live in LA so I would love to go back and visit, but I have never been to Miami. Decisions!
Also, should I even be choosing where it should be??? Are any of you helping to plan your dest bach party????
p.s. I am so freaking excited for it no matter where it is!
