Mine isn’t really a beach destination wedding dress.  But have you looked at Maggie Sottero’s destination dress line? Some of those are beautiful.  Also, my Future Brother-In-Law got married on the beach last year and she found a $50 dress at Dillard’s that was beautiful so look in department stores too.

I’m getting married on the beach (in December) and I thought I wanted a flowy chiffon “destination dress,” but when I went to try on gowns, I fell in love with this Maggie Sottero Vernice model (in white silk dupioni, not champagne as the photo shows):

To me, it’s simple and light enough for a beach wedding but still has the classic modern styling I like. And the corsets on Maggie dresses are a-ma-zing!

Maggie Sottero does have some gorgeous destination dresses, and you might also want to check Eden Bridals (Informals line) and Allure Bridals (Far and Away line). This is the one I originally had my eye on (Eden Bridals 1365):

Good luck!

Here’s mine- Mikaella silk taffeta. I’ve taken quite a bit of the crinoline out in the skirt. More stream-lined and beachy now. Well, at least I think so!

My first choice was Eden Bridals 1365 (listed above), but it was out of my price range, as I am on a strict budget! I went with David’s Bridal L9486. I got it on ebay, brand new with tags and in original packaging, for a steal!!! I am going to sell it after my wedding, too!

@Bug29:  The great thing about getting married on a beach is that it can be as simple or elaborate as you want!  So, don’t think you’re limited on a “destination” dress, just because it’s a beach wedding – go with what you love 🙂  Mine’s on a beach and I’m wearing Maggie’s Evelyn.
