This is definitely good advice - and got me thinking - probably not a bad idea if you're planning to go on vacation to a place with groupon - you can get great deals for activities and meals - such a good idea!
Good point - even stagettes that involve getaways - Vegas must have Groupons ;)

I'm not technically having a 'destination' wedding, but it is a 4-5 hour drive from where I live, in a popular summer spot.
So anyways after regularly receiving my local Groupon email (and a ton of other Daily Deals from various sites), it got me thinking, why not sign up for the Groupon specific to my wedding location.
Now I receive the special offers and share ones of interest with my Bridal Party (think mani/pedis and spa treatments). Especially if you're staying in the location for multiple days (we have 5 nights), you may find some great activities or excursions.
I definitely recommend any destination (or not so local) brides do the same! Worse case scenario you just need to delete a few extra emails a week!
