@jlc3:  I think you might have seen my recap cause we have spoken before about our Cuba weddings 🙂 but I have posted the link for you anyways.

For my destination wedding I brought the chair ties you can see at the ceremony and all the flowers at the wedding were real touch flowers that I brought myself. I wasnt sure what kind of flowers there were going to have in Cuba and because i’m a super matchy person I didnt want to take the chance of them not having the colours I wanted. I resort did the decorations at the ceremony spot which we paid extra for. For the recpetion we had it in a private restaurant and I brought personalized napkins in our wedding colours and some diamond scatter decorations for the tables and a few candles. I also brought chocolates that we put in organza bags (i was scared the chocolate was going to melt on our way there but it got there safe and unmelted in our lugguage lol) People loved getting the chocolate especially being in Cuba. I also brought a cake topper and a cake cutter that I decorated. The chair ties from the ceremony were used at the dinner as well and the flowers that they used to decorate the cremony space we put in the head table

@jlc3: No problem! Yeah I would imagine mine would be one of the only recaps you would find for Cuba since most people on this site are Americans and don’t visit Cuba. I got my real touch bouquets made by a girl that lives in Markham. She did a great job and I was able to go and pick them up so didnt have to pay for shipping. Her website is http://www.bloombridal.com it was a bit pricey but I got alot of stuff, my bouquet with bling, 6 bridesmaid bouquets, a throw bouquet, 9 bountonniers and a few loose flowers I used to make a flower girl wand. I visited the resort we got married at a year before and saw the flowers they had for weddings which were real but I didnt like them very much which is why i choose the real touch flowers. Plus I get to keep my bouquet forever now 🙂 Everyone actually thought it was real flowers
