We got them at Men’s Warehouse when they had a buy one get one free sale. They were Calvin Klein suits.

@Ms. Blue:  It was 300 each groomsmen for the suits. They were 600 regular but they buy one get one free. We got the ties from vineyard vines my DH picked those out they had little whales on them! We gave those as our groomsmen gift. They just wore their own white shirts and shoes.

@Ms. Blue:  I am also between purchasing and renting right now. I’m leaning towards something like this, with FI in a suit and everyone else in shirt and tie with khakis.

So far, my plan is to have FI gather everyone’s sizes and keep an eye out on sales. I am convinced I can find everything I need during a Macy’s or Dillards extra % off sale. But if/when that backfires I’m sure we’ll be looking for last minute rentals… Or just asking everyone to wear their own khaki slacks.

I think we are ordering the ties from Nola Couture. It’s a lot like Vineyard Vines but New Orleans inspired styles. We both have roots there and will have a couple of nods to Louisiana.  http://store.nolacouture.com/Gentlemen/Ties/

@Ms. Blue:  That is exactly how I felt. My dress made me feel formal and I wanted my whole wedding to reflect that. Our reception was indoors and also quite formal in decor.

@Ms. Blue:  I support the made-up “beach glam” concept, lol

FH wants to wear a grey suit. I totally don’t care. Whatevs. I wouldn’t have thought he would’ve wanted to wear a jacket due to the heat (But he is born and raised in the Caribbean and wears suits daily for work, so it probably makes no difference to him)

I haven’t had my wedding yet so no pics, but we ordered linen pants and shirts for the groomsmen and a linen suit for my FI from studio suits. The look good, they shipped fast, and they are all custom made to fit, total cost ~$400. I’m pretty happy with it!

My guy is wearing a Ben Sherman Kings Fit (slim) suit that he got from Nordstrom Rack for about $300. Hard to tell from the photo, but it’s a dark grey pinstripe. Trying to find a vest to match as the groomsmen are wearing heather grey vests. They’re all wearing bowties!

We ordered our groomsmen/groom and father of the bride attire from Island Importer.  My groom is wearing the entire suit in ivory with the coral shirt and his best man and my father will just wear the coral shirt with ivory pants.  Everything is in linen.  This family has the suit on in White but the shirts are the color we chose.
