Weddingbee boards

Hi bees,

I am getting married in Maui in August.  I will be making my own centrepieces.  Any materials that I would use, other than fresh flowers, would be brought or shipped from home, so that's something to keep in mind.  I will post a picture of my venue (all the linens will be white, something else to keep in mind), and the table numbers I have made. My theme is supposed to be "vintage Hawaii".  My main colour is coral and I think I will incorporate some green.

Any ideas you have, pics you can post, or centrepieces from your own weddings that you could share would be much appreciated!

The 3rd pic shows the exact set up but the lawn is different; I won't have those reddish flowers in the background.  The 4th pic is the lawn where my reception will be.  The sun will set about an hour into my reception as well!

Okay anyone during the day?  Even just show me your centrepiece...it might give me an idea!

@SapphireSun:  Thank-you very much!!  I forgot you went to that wedding in Maui.  I never thought of baskets...maybe those bamboo woven kind would look cute and tropical.  I was thinking about something like the pic you posted, but I think I would only be able to transport one big vase for each table.

@redband:  Thank-you so much...that second pic looks extremely easy to pull off! 

I found this pic on the Save On Crafts website last night and it's similar to my colours...plus it looks fairly easy.   (the square vase with some kind of leaf lining it with flowers).  If I put some candles around it?  What do you think?
