Hello Everyone 🙂 We are getting married in just under 2 weeks and still haven’t decided on music for me to walk down the aisle to.. We will be getting married in Jamaica and it will be just the two of us so we need something short and sweet. My fiance liked “Here comes the sun” originally but now not so much (hard to find a good short instrumental copy and thinks there could be something better). Any thoughts or ideas?? Any input will be very much appreciated 😀
Could you possibly find someone to do it at your ceremony?? I saw a wedding going on here on Long Island at the Fire Island lighthouse and they had live steel drum players and it was so perfect. I think it’d go awesome at a Jamaican wedding!
@jackchi: Thank you so much for finding this! We have been looking for something just like this with no luck (and I mean hours of youtube searches-this one never came up for some reason under steel drums). So helpful 🙂 Thanks!!
@laurahunter23: You’re so welcome! Once I saw the last link I posted, I was like, “OK! Scratch my previous! LoL” I loved it…I may even use it at some point in my outdoor wedding at the London Bridge resort! Maybe when people are getting seated before the ceremony starts.
@laurahunter23: We got married in St Thomas in October and we used the steel drums….I just love how they sound!
Somewhere over the rainbow sounds really pretty on the steel drums. Maybe you could use a version of that? My bridal party walked in to that song! I was pretty hooked on using Cannon in D bc it sounds really pretty on the steel drums as well!
