We are considering a destination wedding in Jamaica this coming October, so we have to make a decision fast. Since there will be young kids coming, we were considering Beaches Negril Resort and Spa or Beaches Boscobel Resort and Golf Club, both by Sandals. We have probably about 40 guests coming.
We figured this way we could switch to one of the Sandals adults only resorts after the wedding.
Do you know of anyone who had there wedding at these places? Any suggestions? What was the experience like? Did you have a photographer or videographer? Did you get your hair and make-up done? How much was it to have a priavte reception and DJ? Pictures would be great!
Thank you so much for your help! Planning a destination wedding is a bit unnerving.

I went to a destination wedding in Jamaica last spring. Check out Mrs. Quiche’s blog. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding which was held at Coyaba Beach Resort in Montego Bay. It was absolotely perfect!! I believe there is a Coyaba in Negril as well. Good luck!!

I’ve participated in Jamaica weddings. Just knokw that the cost is often expensive to do rentals, ie $25 for 5 votives quoted and duty costs for shipping is ridiculous. Otherwise wedding is absolutely gorgeous! Wedding was at Rose Hall

I am considering a destination wedding in Oct. in Grand Cayman.
Plan on cruising for 7 days and getting married at a venue in Grand Cayman on day 3 of the cruise.
We will have about 20 crusing with us and this was the least expensive and seemed to be most relaxing choice. We have 3 childrena and wanted to have them occupied during the wedding/vacation.
plus spending a week partying with friends and family just sounds great.
Jamaica sounds nice too. Please share your pricing details. I would love to hear more.
In grand cayman you can get married for $2300 and then just add reception and dinner and such, Very reasonable.
