You could invite them to brunch or for a girls weekend away (or close to home) and ask them while you are hanging out or you could give them a card and inside ask them. I asked my sisters and nieces to go dress shopping with me when I was home for Christmas and when we got there I asked them if they would be my MOH, BM's and flower girl. They were excited and we picked out the wedding colors and dresses together.
You can honor them at the reception by having the dj annouce the wedding party. You could also dedicate a song to them or a toast in their honors. I hope this helps you in your brainstorming.
Happy Planning and Congratulations on your engagement!
I love the idea :) thank you so much for your help!!! I think annoucing the party is a great idea and it will still allow them to be involved!
Thanks again :)

Hi all:)
So we are traveling to Negril, Jamaica to get married (just the two of us) in September, and when we return we will be throwing a "celebration" with our family and friends. I want to still have bridesmaids that are there for me during the celebration, but need a neat way to do that and to recognize them the day of the party. They all know about us going away and getting married andsupport our decision 100%!!
need help on how to ask them and way to recognize them the day of the party!
Thanks all for your help :)
